Cass Corridor isn't dangerous. its nothing like it was in the 1970s and 80s. the neighborhood is now very up-and-coming. as for Troy, well, it has begun its steady journey of decline. Sure, it is a "safe" place, with "good schools" and stores. But it is severely lacking in culture, and the video shows this and also how privileged the youth are. The teacher says they are aspiring for a better life then their parents, but we all know that is quickly becoming impossible. Suburbia is dead.

In college and my parents live in west Troy, I would not live in the city because it has no personality, all the houses look the same, and its typical suburbia. I would love to live in the historical districts of Detroit like Sherwood Forest, Palmer Woods, Indian Village, or Boston-Edison.

I lived in that god forsaken city for 22 years, I'm so glad that I got my as out when I could. I know for a fact that a majority of those kids are stuck up little snots that don't know shit about life. I'm glad to be 3,000 mile away from there and I'm never going back. Later Shit hole.

This is a good video but it offers a skewed view of the city. I particularly don't agree with how the youth are represented. There are plenty of hard working, thoughtful young people in the city. I think this should be called "Square Lake and Coolidge", because thats what it seems to represent.

This city has been ruined by immigrants. They don't maintain their homes. They have zero etiquette. Very unclean & undesirable. My neighborhood looks terrible since they started moving in about 10-15yrs. ago. They don't shovel their walkways,they park their cars all over. No routine lawn cutting. My two foriegn neighbors have had christmas lights up for over two years & they never even turned them on. I am disgusted. They are filthy & undesirable. I for one miss the good old days.
