@STORMKING123 orochimaru was in the akatsuki at one point but when itachi joined he tried to take over itachis body for the sharingan but faild after that he left but when he was in akatsuki he was partners with sasori after he leaft sasori hated him and sent a spy who was kabuto after him but later kabuto joined orochimaru
