Derek's just done a live review of my site too - highlighted a number of areas that I don't think anyone really talks about in conversion - great stuff.
Chris this was an awesome video and really enjoyed the information your guest Derek Halpern offered. I do use larger fonts and learned about how colors do affect how people react. I wonder how Derek would respond to those sites that use black background and purple fonts? Especially when the fonts are 10pt. Why are people still developing sites like that? Is it strickly for the 'ads' to show up better?
I am so glad you mentioned font size and colour. Those gray on gray sites with small font drive me crazy. I am in my late 40s so thought that they were obviously targeting a younger audience. I personally much prefer simple to chaotic and will now go back and tweak.

@learnit2earnit you're right. It's ridiculous. It's hard to read, and it's probably converts horribly, too.
