Wow an arcade that isn't overrun by racing games, 3D fighting games, and light gun games? Sooooo rare nowadays. Then again so are independent arcades. It is a shame online gaming completely killed what was left of the US arcade industry. All there is now is Dave & Busters. I blame laziness and arcade managers who refuse to fix damaged arcade cabinets.
Why should this matter in the first place? Even if they may make the majority of the games available, most arcades offer a good variety of game genres for everyone to play. And even if they were all they had, there are good games in those genres that can be played, if given the try. In fact, retro remakes of classic arcade game machines are coming of high popularity nowadays.
Although it's true that arcades have declined in popularity in recent years, there are still plenty of people who visit these quite often (they make a good time-killer before going to the movies and an excellent way to have a date).
It wouldn't be necessary to say that online gaming has done any more damage to the arcade industry, since it provides a completely different experience from playing in arcades. It may be convinient over the arcades, especially Xbox LIVE arcade, but it does not have any known impact since it cannot be accurately determined.
There may be some employees who are stuck-up on not doing any work, but there are requests made by players to fix the machines for them that they will happily do for. It is, again, illogical to think this since having too many broken machines will cause for their business to break down, and no manager in their right mind would want this.
Well Japan is getting all those retro remake arcade cabinets. A trippy looking 3D Space Invaders game came out last year over there. That still hasn't come out here.
Black Tiger is inspired by no one! He does whatever he pleases and does it superbly! He's not easily threated, his knowledge is quite superior, and his kindness is deeply evergoing! He truly is the champion of champions!
OMG that arcade looks fucking awesome Virtua Fighter AWESOME I LOVE THAT GAME and Snow Brothers and Contra and R-Type oh this is godlike. P.S. OceanBlueKirby Crusin' USA is a Racing game kinda like a 3-D Outrun I Use to play the Crusin games all of the time when I had my N64 it was fun.
I know what it is!!! I remember one track where you can run over people in the Californian mall. I think it decreased the amount of time you had each time you ran over a person, though. I'm pretty sure it was in this game. Who needs the other arcade machines when you've got the Ultracade?...Unless it only includes Capcom games. Some dude(s) were blocking his way when he was taking in the overview of the arcade and coin machines.
It fustrates me when someone tells me the obvious. My parents do that to me all the time. I finally found out what the mysterious shooting game is: Galaxy Force!
Why would I not know about it if I would act so excited when seeing it? Doesn't seem logical to me, but I guess either you were not thinking straight, miscomprehended my comment, or were very tired. Who gave my comment (and Nintenga's) a +1? Another rating mystery I have to solve, but I point them to you, ChibiFighter.
Cool! The arcade is so colorful and nice. Where's that nicely orchestrated music coming from? It's in a World of Warcraft style. You got some Japanese games, too. Crusin' USA?! Isn't that the one where you get to run over people in the mall? That was so much fun! Granted I haven't played in an arcade for two years, but I had so many fun times in the past. Tekken is much better than Virtua Fighter, in my opinion. You ended the video with a mysterious shooter.
28:54, some footage from Konami's Lethal Enforcers game, yay!

Seeing a Lethal Enforcers 1 machine in an arcade kinda scares me, all because of the cracked logo, effect from a bullet being shot at the logo.

@gutchman84 also the font choices in that game are kinda scary in my opinion

Does this arcade still exist? Where is it?

That's a cool looking Lost World cabinet at 19:49! gutchman84 would definitely be surprised if he saw that.

This background music came from Neo Nectaris, a Japanese import for the TurboDuo system. Great game, superb soundtrack.

Maybe it will soon. Space Invaders was pretty popular in the United States, so it possible that it will come out here.

Actually, this is the arcade I mentionedon the forums months ago that I wanted to video, but I never got around to it until recently. :)
Unfortunately, I had limited time and couldn't do the kinda job I wanted to. Next time I'll bring a digital camera.
