Playing in front of all the teachers is quite a challenge for anyone, let alone an eleven year old child! Vivian, you were great; and Mozart suits your personality so well! He is truly the greatest of all times. A litte tip, next time, no matter which composer you are playing, let HIM/HER play; forget about your ego, your nervousness, and just be a medium of great music. Lastly, you look so graceful and pretty in that purple frock. God Bess!

How tall is Vivian now? 1 cm per month, that is like 5 inches annually. She must be having a growth spurt, or you are feeding her tons of spinach and miracle- grow. At 11/12, I was four feet nine inches. I did attain five feet three, not bad for a Chinese female of my generation.

As a music educator, I can say quite a brilliant performance. Nice dynamic contrast and I paticularly like the phrasing technique throughout. Great job balancing the left hand, particularly when it has the melody. Rubatos are well played and appropriate. I noticed minimal use of the damper pedal, which shows what an incredible talent you are (many use it to cover up rhythmical and balance errors). You are on your way to stardom!
