guys stfu about how he teaches. HE played college ball. HE is the one instructing on how HE hits. this is HIS swing. he is giving tips. not saying its perfect
He isn't teaching how he swings. He is teaching his opinions of what his physical body looks like when he swings. He did not address how movement is created, and he didn't even mention the mind.
Therefore, he wasn't teaching hitting at all. In fact, he wasn't really teaching anything worth watching. He was just teaching you his opinions of what the body should look like when swinging. This has absolutely nothing to do with how to develop a swing, or how to get better at hitting.
if this didn't teach anything then why don't you post a video on the correct hitting technique. he was putting a visual to the e mechanics of a swing after the trigger.
Teaching what the proper hitting technique looks like will do absolutely nothing in terms of developing a player. You can see a problem in mechanics and know there is something you need to change about your thinking, but seeing a mechanical flaw and trying to fix the mechanic individually is a foolish idea. Thoughts create movement, not the physical body. In other words, thoughts create actions. Nowhere in this video does the author explain how to think when hitting.
Okay. this guy seriously needs to stop posting videos. All of his teachings are wrong. "tinroof222" is right, the bat path that he is teaching is completely wrong. He is going to either pound the ball into the ground, or get under it and weakly pop it up to the infield. An MLB bat path is getting the bat into the hitting zone early, enabeling the sweet spot of the bat to get on the plane of the pitch and stay there. Not to come down on it and maybe chip it up. SQUARE UP THE BALL!
If anyone can show me a major league hitter who's swing resembles that bat path i will send you a money order for 100 dollars. It has to be an everyday hitter batting over .250. No pitchers
