Sounds like Geordie to me, although I live in the South so all Northern accents sound the same to me XD

For the most part, the chords played in this song are played without their fifths. The C is played without the G, but keeps the E (though you can add it routinely for some fun with rhythm), and the same goes for the C# and D#. C# has its third, F, but no G#, and D# has NO A#. you do not hear it in the original recording.
