you had me on the bacon grease, but then ya lost me on the green beans and potatoes, unless of course you're goin to fry them up fresh with potatoes. I used go out in the garden when I ws a kid(many yr ago) and eat raw green beans, and if my mother fried a nice batch I'd eat them. for some reason, ~ shelly beans maybe~ fried.with onion I like Emeril lol..now I'm hungry too..lol

You can't go wrong cooking with bacon grease, I use it to make popcorn and it really improves it.

So now you mention it, I've been stuck on microwave popcorn for so long I forgot how good bacon grease popcorn is. I'll be trying that soon.

@oaktreega It really was good, but hold out for the canned potatoes with green beans. According to my wife I've reproduced a genuine old southern dish. I'll do a video on it the next time I fix it.
