daphne didnt smoke during the workshop and rent progressed to broadway she picked the habit.

hearing the difference in her voice before and after smoking is 100% a reason not to smoke if you want a career in music performance.

daphne is amazing, i went to one of her live concerts, and when i met her afterwards, she was so sweet! her voice is rough and raspy, but she IS mimi to me, her persona/character is my favorite the way she plays mimi

Well, he did make some changes to the beat, and notice that not only is this version slower, but at the beginning he said 'I'm not going' and in the Off-Broadway/Broadway and movie versions, Roger says 'What's you forget'

The man playing Roger sounds like Michael from Grease 2! But Daphne's voice sounds so wonderful in this song! I'm not saying this Roger is bad, but, he's not putting too much emotion into his song....
