There are many support groups of those going through the same thing. Because many times we need soitude, I'd encourage you to get a pet, the comfort they provide is inmense. Sounds like you would make a great Mom to a homeless animal. I have quite a few, and they feel many voids when no one can.

You are right; animals help alot...I have a dog named Alexis, and she is sooo loving and is sometimes the only thing that keeps me going...I also have 2 cats, but my dog is the most "sensitive"; she KNOWS, when my husband's spirit is around, and she sleeps with me every night, too - never leaving my side. IDK what I would do without her; when my husband was alive, even tho she was MY gift, from my daughter, she was a "Daddy's Girl", but now..:'(
