it's HTC's latest version of making android masterbatable. yes, sense can be unofficially and an warrantyable (i've been drinking) to older android phones. i know nothing about the tegrax.

soon you can flash the rom to the HTC Hero (or codenamed rosie) ROM, which will support flash out of the box. =)

you can do it right now, but HTC Sense (Sense being the name of the OS, like iPhones "OS3.0" for expample) is not 100% finished and out yet. The hero is released later this month (today being july 1) so keep your eyes peeled. Note, updating your magic to sense will void any warranties and does actually have the potential to render your phone useless if done incorrectly, so update at your own risk. I will :D

as android is open source, the companies making the phones can fuck around with the OS as much as they want. HTC have done this, and they've called the release that the hero comes with 'sense'. flashing your magic to sense will give you flash support, multitouch, newer 5 page home screens and more customisation.

you have to download the google SD (software developement kit) a backup rom and the hero rom, and then flash it via USB. it's a little risky and i'll explain it when im sober... i'm so fucking pissed tight nowman, haha.... talk tsoon.
