You cut the part where she drags Bob by the colar and pushes him to the chair roughly.....I just love the way she says..."Boooob!" One has to wonder how would Streep's Mary character take Scott Baio's womanizing ways if she saw those photos or being cheated on because she is a cheap thrill. Mary would probably get him on a leash and beg for forgiveness. Blackmailing. Meryl is so funny in this and she is tough as nails. She has the right to be upset. My favorite role is Death Becomes Her.

Totally agree. Julie T Wallace played the she devil part to perfection in the series, which was pretty true to the book..and she lived in a high tower on the edge of the sea! This is still brilliant though - glam, glossy, and comedic froth.
