  • i just love being 40 seconds into the song and an ad starts. annoying.

  • This is probably one of the greatest groups there is, to bad so few have heard of them.

  • Omg first time i heard this song and its like EPIC!!!!

  • awesome!

  • Best record I own

  • At the [incomprehensible] part he says "help me before I run right for the door"

  • i dont wanna waste it......

  • Talking heads, DInosaur jr., Sonic Youth, and Pixies. Todays Alternative rocks four fathers.

  • @flipside799 I'd argue My Bloody Valentine deserves a spot in there.

  • @TheNatedogg56 Yes i agree as well. Its hard to name four bands that kinda said hey, lets do our own thing.

  • @flipside799 and i listen all day to all of them

  • @edwardbarkley Help me, for I'm wrong right from the go

  • no way anyone could can make ths song even better

bands like dinosaur jr and j mascis solo project are some of the last fosils of the golden rock era 1985-1995 just between the crapy disco music and the fucking lemmonheads like blur and oasis

i guess we´ll never see something like the revolution from the 60´s and the sarcasm from the 85-95 era

im just sad i didnt belonged to those times its a shame my gneration only sees whats on mtv and forgot about something else tha what u wear or own im 18

  • I think this is the best 'new' DJ song since they reformed the band a few years back... although they ahve many great ones

  • Idk We Are Not Alone's solo is fucking crazy too.....

  • @NirvanaNerd364 yeah, plus he sings while preforming that solo

  • @MrMentllet Yeah well some might just say its guitar noodling but yeah thats definatly impressive

  • PS: I know J is gettin old but he plays young n crazy :)

  • Byootiful. I feel this is what Neil Young and Crazy Horse might've sounded like if they were born in this more recent generation. Just awesome. Thanks J Mascis.

  • is it just me or duz he kinda sound like eddie vedder

  • @amisaad214 TOTally!!!

  • NIRVANA and DINOSUAR JR are the greatest bands ever

  • @MrNinjam0n Soundgarden and Alice in Chains are way better than overrated Nirvana.

  • @QingLong90 Ha. Nirvana is not overrated. Not by a long shot. True, "Teen Spirit" is grossly overplayed and wrongly held as a banner by the radio-listening, mouth-breathing masses, but only because that is ONE HELL of a song.

Besides, I'd say Nirvana was more of a punk band than a grunge band, so in my mind it's apples and oranges.

  • @TheNatedogg56 Right man, Nirvana's music was nothing more than Kurt's interpretation of punk rock (due to the fact that he read a lot about but it took him a while to get a punkrock record). It was declared grunge by others

  • @KasCalwein Thank you! I honestly don't see how someone could listen to "Nevermind" and "Badmotorfinger" and still claim those two albums are the same genre.

Anyone that says Nirvana is grunge doesn't know what grunge is. Simple as that.

  • @TheNatedogg56 Nirvana is grunge. The just sound less raw. You can't tell me Bleach was not grunge.. or In utero

  • @Whyyousuchadumbbutt Bleach, no way. That record is straight punk. Nevermind has a little bit of the Seattle grunge ethos, but that's a punk record for the most part. In Utero I would definitely admit as grunge. Listen to early Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, or Soundgarden. That's grunge, and waaaay different from what Nirvana was doing.

  • the solo * puhhhhh *.....great !

  • opening riff makes me think of catherine wheel's black metallic..

  • @gxlxs Uh-huh...that's the F7 Major chord you're hearing there. I will never get sick of hearing it. Even though Dino practically have it patented at this point. Anyway I remember discovering it on guitar in about 1982. I can spot it a mile away.

  • Its not Indie, Its not alternative, It\'s J, Lou and Murph.

    A category of it's own.

  • On paper I shouldn't like this band. But fuck that logic. I love this band!

  • Mascis' soul just poured out all over those 6 strings. @ dlm7691- I'm on the 4th replay now.

  • Maybe its just cause i'm a little depressed but this song hits my heart..not to sound like a fag or anything ,just sayin lol

  • @marijuanasamanich same for me.

  • @marijuanasamanich "not to sound like a fag"....not any need for that really ¬_¬

  • This guitar solo reminds me of the solo from Get Me with how it grabs me, pulls and stretches me, and just when it feels like it's going to finally release me it yanks me back for another round ..... this song is why amps need to go to eleven!

  • it's all rock n roll to me

  • @FriendNotFoeBand yours doesn't? \o/

  • J is fucking monster on guitar

  • After listening to this song I deleted ALL other music on my hard disc.

I do not need anything else.

  • @piemagexp

    not really.

  • @piemagexp That's J's unique sound. It's dinosaur jr.'s sound. I'll have to agree to disagree.

  • THis song is so freaking long which is why it's cool, I mean have you counted the length of that guitar solo?

  • Usually bands suck as they go on these days, but not these guys

  • this is alt. rock's Free Bird

  • @ColinHadaller umm, it's indie rock

  • @JayTheHelmetGuy umm, it's alternative rock.

  • @AdioZeroTensorSK8 umm use the web it's indie rock

  • @JayTheHelmetGuy umm when do you hear a solo like this in indie rock? Its alt rock fucktard

  • @MrHello435222 indie rock dude you are dumb

  • @JayTheHelmetGuy why does it fuckin matter just listen to the song....

@FriendNotFoeBand at least one person understands... thats all it is just good rock n'roll

  • @rssnowblind0 good fucking point

  • Ok,ok, it`s both actually, what the industry called alternative rock in the early nineties is called indie rock nowadays.

  • Ok,ok, it`s both actually, what the industry called alternative rock in the early nineties is called indie rock nowadays.

  • @Decktone You got that right on the head. Only decent bands these days that come out are indie bands.

  • @ColinHadaller, Free Bird's country rock, like all of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

  • 'Epic' is the only right word here. Awesome the Dinos can still amaze after all those years.

  • He says "Help me, for I'm wrong right from the go." Its not that hard to understand.

  • My favorite band all times!!!

  • Thick, rich, and gloopy sheets of sound. It is like real Belgian chocolate. Oh I loved Neil Young's Arc/Weld tour.

  • eppppiiic solo...i could listen to it for days

  • @dlm7691 4.18 the crackdown! emotional explosion! :D

  • @dlm7691 me to!.. wish it was like 30minutes longer at least lol

  • POA wattn sound ey . GREAT UPLOAD MAN !!!

  • it sounds like "help me for i'm running right for the door" or something along those lines where you wrote [incomprehensible]

  • this is weird after only listening to live version

  • Everytime when i listen to that masterpiece i wish J would never stop with that fabolous solo !!!

  • aahhhhh vintege dino. jnr

  • Thanks for posting... Favorite tune on the album. Makes me believe in the guitar solo again.
