Thanks bee. No, the videos have been rendered using Sony Video Vegas 9.0. My take is that the T2i does not have inherently more contrast than the 150. Maybe what you are seeing is a bit more 'latitude" between the two. The larger sensor in the t2i seems to gives it an ability to take in more light. But I must say, that it didn't seem like it was that much better than the 150 in that regard. A bit, yes. But what this points out to me is that the two cameras can be used together well.
wow I'm glad I found this. I've spent hours researching as the is EXACTLY the combo I want to buy. I was hoping I can match the two in post. my goal is to use the T2i for close ups and specific depth of field shots, then shoot everything else with the HMC.
Are both videos raw? The t2i seems to have way more contrast than the HMC and looks better as well.
The scene of the fire actually was at widest lens. Well, like I said, it wasn't meant to be a scientific comparison. Sort of wanting to see how the two fit together. It was more than I wanted to do on that beautiful night. But I'll be posting more over the next few weeks on the comparison based on a working setup.

How come no wide shots with the HMC. This is disappointing.
