  • what are the 8 pin and 6 pin cables you installed? I can't turn mine on because of this...

  • @RockOn1m1 It's power for the graphics card---

  • Nice. Add me on battlelog:) we can play. IAF_Corsair650D

  • THANKS! didnt know that i had to plug in 2 PCI to my gtx570. you saved me :)

  • @sakykBzz rofl:)

  • please, what's the font's name used in this vid? thanks

  • @biflos7 Bah, formatted my pc since then, so I dont remember :o

  • @GreenSLiTran sad :(. I thought it was Eurostile extended 2, but this in video is more angular or how I can say it...

  • How much did the Rig cost altogether?????????????

  • Why m-ATX?

  • The price of the entire system? I'm thinking to the gainward 570 phantom but it cost's so much!

Now i've a GeForce 9800GTX 512mb, the actual system is:

    - Intel i5 2500k

    - 4GB Ram DDR3 1600MHz

    - 750W PSU

What can be your suggest? Is there many differences between the GW 560 Phantom and GW 570 Phantom?

  • SICK

  • Fucking sweet! Love the music so much also! :)

  • now get everything colour matching, like cables or tubes around certain cables

  • I'm soon getting a Gainward gtx 570, but I don't know if I should go with the phantom version or the standard one. Wich do you suggest?

  • @Dirxano Phantom is better than the standard gainward one. But standard Evga one is better, ish. :]

  • What time of white cabling is that in the pic of your updated pc pic where can i buy it

  • @viciousaudio NZXT cable sleeves, I live in norway and got it from komplett dot no

  • okay criticisms:

800D Cases are way over priced, and you are only fitting one tiny m-ATX board in there!

Those pre-built water cooling systems are all crap, and over priced. You are better off with a decent air cooler.

Antec PSU's are crap. Don't touch them. Get seasonic X series PSU's, and nothing else.

    Pros:

Obviously you can build a computer.

The actual hardware you chose is pretty good (minus the PSU).

Other : I'd love to see some plain black cable extenders for the mobo + pci-e connectors

  • @Zwank36 thanks for critics both good and bad, however I must disagree a bit:

THAT pre built watercooler isnt as good as i'd want to, but I now have a Corsair H100, and it perform really well while at the same time staying quiet.

And whats wrong with antec psu's? I've had this one since 2008, on alot of OC'ed hardware, never had any trouble with it.

and yup, my rig looks alot different now, with white cable sleeves, new gpu, bigger motherboard, more ram, soundcard etc. :]

  • @GreenSLiTran Antec has been plauged with build quality issues for awhile. I've had to replace a lot of them because; components weren't glued down, and managed to break out of the PCB. Screws weren't wrapped with plumbers tape etc. Fans would just wear out in a matter of months.

Basically the units didn't travel that well at all. Wasn't so much the components used in them.

  • @Zwank36 couldnt fit this in the last comment: check description for link to updated picture of my rig

  • @Zwank36 Would you recommend this over the gainward gtx 570 golden sample??

  • @freefrans golden sample is for speed and is a dual slot gpu. Phantom is for silence and is a 3 (2.5) slot.

  • @Zwank36 Thanks

  • you should do an updated version of your rig

    would be nice :D

  • @the13thkillzone yeaaa, I'll see if I can get myself to do it. Maybe after I upgrade once again to LGA2011 platform :]

  • @the13thkillzone yeaaa, I'll see if I can get myself to do it. Maybe after I upgrade once again to LGA2011 platform :]

  • I suddenly feel like playing a fast paced 8 bit game

  • Whats better this case or a thermaltake level 10 gt btw I like a cool looking case too

  • one last thing: for your vids you should list all items of your build in the description ^_^ keep up the awesome builds! :)

  • just saw you upgraded your GPU, and the cooler to a H100. glad you got a new GPU ^_^ but again with the water cooler buddy! haha don't knock air coolers until you really review comparative specs. When you got a big ass case like this, there really is no comparison to a Noctua NH-D14 or a Thermalright Silver Arrow. They may not look as pretty, but dammit they are the absolute best of the best in sound, cooling, power consumption... EVERYTHING! and being pretty is for women PCs... WE ARE MEN!!!

  • awesome build man. If you want improvements I can suggest a few: I would look at other GPUs. Gainward's cards are by far the best looking cards on the market - I mean come on! They look like sex on a stick... but looks aren't everything and sadly the specs for their cards really far behind when compared to others :( Another thing to upgrade if you wanted to, is the CPU cooler. Water coolers are fancier, but don't make much sense. You have a full tower so search for the Noctua NH-D14 ^_^

  • Very nice - what case is that ?

    Regards

  • @alexpanait Corsair Obisidian 800D

  • that case is fukin awesome!!! :D

  • im not too sure but it looked like ur fan on the cpu radiator was exhausting into the case? if this was what it was i have never seen that before. but i guess with 3 exhaust fans up the top it should be fine.

  • @danpbrown Correct.

There are so few intake fans in the 800d, that I thought it would be best that way. And I had my pc next to the window, so it drew cold fresh air straight through the radiator.

I now have a totally different setup tho, gtx 580, Corsair H100 in the top, and the back fan now drawing air out fo the case aswell. Oh, and a bigger motherboard ^^

  • cool trousers bro, i got the same

  • How do you find your temps are are the top three 120mm fans a intake or exhaust? also how are those fans for air to noise?

  • top gear on your tv ftw ! :D

  • i like your upgrade :D:D

  • Phantom is better just as long as its in a well ventillated case so you can exaust the hot air created by the card.

  • Xigmatek fans are fucking noisy!

  • whats the mobo called :D and also nice video mate great cable management

  • @thekerrypetes ya honestly you sound retarted this dude has an awesome build, and manufacturer of VGA doesnt matter. it is still the same GPU

  • cable management +1

  • shoulda put those components in a smaller Corsair case. 800D is for ATX or larger. why would you use a micro ATX board? your whole system screams a budget of possibly 1500.00 USD with the most expensive being the VGA?

  • @thekerrypetes

you jut made a budget up in your head nice. makes me take the comment so serious.

Its fun how the little card outperform most not-high-end ATX 1366 boards. And that I dont use it anymore

  • @GreenSLiTran

not sure what youre talking about but sure kid, whatever you say.

  • nice pajamas

  • @ExtraterrestrialMind Not just nice. its UBER!

  • Micro atx motherboard in 800D ?? HAHAHAHHAHA

  • @Vesslan99999 Cool bro right here. Go play around in your windows movie maker which I see you are very fond of. ^^

    And for the record:

    i.imgur dot com/aKHzj dot jpg

  • @Vesslan99999

i know right? might as well mount a netbook and connect a mouse, keyboard and monitor externally. granted, he did use an SLI board but come on, could have gotten a better size appropriate board for the same price as an over rated EVGA mobo.

  • gtx 570, which one of these version is better, asus? gainward? or EVGA?

  • @adstation31 Doesnt matter. its all the same except for coolers, the stock coolers are really great aswell so it really doesnt matter.

  • @GreenSLiTran i see... thank you bro

  • @GreenSLiTran

ASUS GTX 570 is far more superior to EVGA or Gainward (wtf is Gainward?) with its OC ability and cooler design. 3 slots are worth it if youre like most people and do not water cool their cards and rely solely on the fans to provide adequate cooling performance. i would check out specs and do your research before you claim that EVGA, Asus and Gainward are "all the same except for coolers".

  • Have you ever even tried a Gainward? lol. kids making conclusions these days

  • @thekerrypetes Just because you have asus, you atuomatically think its better. nice going.

Please, do some research before you leave comments making you look dumb

  • @GreenSLiTran

never said i had the Asus GTX 570, just saying that its a far more superior card than the EVGA or Gainward 570. im sure a lot of people would agree with my statement assuming theyve seen some benchmarks and ridiculously stable over clocks. no point in arguing with a child so im gonna leave you to it.

  • @thekerrypetes then show me some sources!

  • @GreenSLiTran @thekerrypetes

Actually, the Phantom IS the worse card. The Asus card's core speed can be overclocked to around 930MHz whereas the Phantom has only been maxed at around 825MHz.

  • @JoeDBean Too bad I had mine at 960mhz then.

  • that cable management is insane.my NXZT Phantom big tower is not that good, but idc if there are cables inside or not :p

  • Love the background music :) nice work

  • realy nice ! ;)

  • how much did you spent for this ?

  • i have a question: could you make a vid. about the noise of the phantom? i think i would buy it if it isnt too loud

  • @yakutza100 Its very irrelevant to record the sound to reflect on the noise level, because the mic wont even pick up everything properly.

Its a nice and silent card, but it can be noisy if you want, however it doesnt ever need to be running at high rpm's.

  • wow .... what a video .

only thing i wouldnt do is that i wouldnt screw 2x120mm cpu cooler fans directly to a thin metalic case . thats a big no no in my book . you can get silicon/rubber sheets/kits and screws for like a dollar or two.

but again, not everybody cares about silent PCs as much as i do ... loudest thing in my pc is my HDD.

  • Will you use those 3 monitors with that rig?Cause if that's the case, maybe you should go with 6970 instead of 570.Just sugestion, dont hate :)

  • @ajvanho007 Not going to. 2 monitors is enough for me ^^

    Besides.. Getting a Dell 27" ips screen soon, + a gtx 590 maybe ;D

  • A couple of questions:

    1. were the three top fans 120mm or 140mm and how many fans did u install in all, because u had 6 fan extensions

    2. Does the 800D come with the metal back frame ( 2:44 ) for the motherboard

    3. Is there anything u do or dont like from the 800D so far

  • Very nice video man ! Kick ass build to ! :D 5/5

  • $ !?

  • Lol those molex connectors never have correctly positioned pins do that?

  • nice done =)

I just wonder, how many pins / power does that 570 use?

my 6870 takes 2x 4pins to power it up but this seems kinda , alot?

  • @TrueDesireHD 1x 8pin, 1x 6pin

  • I love it man nice build and nice cable management thumbs up man

  • Wow...that is a lot of work. Good job. I guess I'll stick to prefabricated MacBook Pros :)

  • woooooow! the cable management looooks awesome upon installing the graphic carD! Cant wait to mount my rig next comming week though I took the Corsair 650D as the 800D is abit pricy ><" Good job there Keep it up!!

  • @ToryToryDor thanks!

yeah the 650D is really nice, Im thinking of switching to that perhaps, because of a more convenient size ^^

  • @ToryToryDor got the 650D and its a beast of a case and fits almost anything:D

  • @Pollack007 My Rig is UP!! Wonder if i should make a video of it ><"

  • @ToryToryDor u should:D

  • will it run tetris?

  • what case?

  • nice man!!

  • Fuck, can't wait to build my new system. Almost the best part about getting a new one.

  • Nice pyjama's! And how much did this whole set up cost you?

  • the video has a nice flow to it :D nice music and a nice quality camera! Keep it up!

  • @roflgl Thanks :D

  • I laughed at the fan controller part, molex power plugs never want to fit do they?

  • @resdudeornardude Yeah... Dammit, lol

  • @GreenSLiTran It's still a super clean build, its a build anyone would want. Also, are you just a member at raze the world? Or someone like a mod/admin?

  • @GreenSLiTran how much did it take to build ?

  • thumbs up if you didn't turned the music off

    :P

  • @Dun1kanMacLoud Man, your grammar sucks!

  • @GreenSLiTran

I agree with Dun1kanMacLoud ,you need to work on cable management

  • hey man just to let you know you should buy a backplate for the 570 cuz i would hate to see that thing start to bend over. =)

  • Hmm your matx board is lost in space :) Why are you using this oversized huge tower with a matx mainboard? And why are you building a new computer with the old x58 chipset? Have you ever heared something about intel sandy bridge? For example the i5 2500k?

  • @jjobraun Do some reading in comments before jumping to conclusions.

Its funny how you mention the 2500k and not the 2600k which is the only one who on the performance side beats a i7 930.

Ive had this rig for over a year, and upgrading to LGA2011 in 2012/Q4 2011.

I am still enjoying my Trippel-channel memory compared to the dual channel tech on the middle-performance-class i5 chipsets.

  • @jjobraun You practically failed at trying to make yourself look tech savvy by saying that last part

  • I want to build a same 1 like your ! But can you tell me all the spec and the price total ?

  • sleeved extensions or sleeving the end of your psus cables would make it even better.

  • you should be running SLI with that board, you need another GPU in there.

  • Music is quite annoying, otherwise nice video and nice build. * presses like button*

  • If you're serious about your cablerouting then I think you're a noob, other than that it's looks pretty cool.

  • @XxZorexilorexX LOL, instead of leaving a trashy comment like that, why not say whats so "n00b" about it, and or come with constructive feedback or tips mr pro

  • @GreenSLiTran

Well the guy is 16(!) years old and got the nerve to call you a noob... A "LIFE NOOB"!

  • Name of your mother board pls?

  • @ManoLegoProductions evga x58 micro sli

  • how much did that computer cost you?

  • @tiio6 that is about a 1300$ build todays prices...

  • How much all ?

  • hey man nicee rig! whats the power supply? im looking to fully upgrade my system! and am so confused at the moment but getting on! just wanted to no what power supply you have and also the memory you got going on? also looking at the phantom! is it worth the money? if you could help that would be amasing! thanks

  • @dubzilladingdong The PSU is an antec quattro 850w.

    Memory is corsair dominator 6gb.

And yea the phantom is definetly worth it.

  • @xTheXboTxGamePlayZ Yup norsk ^^

  • you are so many rich young man, you computer is so so beautiful ! clean and co

    so nice job !!

  • what does 800d means?

  • What's that volume thingy which you install at 11:50?

  • @hyZa1 Not volume, it's a fan controller to adjust fan speeds.

  • @GreenSLiTran Ah ok, thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • I use a magnetic screwdriver when screwing in my motherboard.

    I NEVER drop my screws.

  • As fans of the radiator as backwards! Put them taking the air out of the box.

  • can you please tell me what´s the song starting at 13:05 ?

    And btw very nice setup.

  • @pointblack1000 Philter - Flutterby

    can be found @ youtube

  • @GreenSLiTran Thank you very much ^^

  • i love it

  • Hi! Really a wonderful system :)

I have to ask wich Antec TruePower Quattro is your power supply... I need the complete name and power output so I can find the specs ;)

  • @TheOnlyDuken its the 850w one. Antec TruePower Quattro 850w.

  • @GreenSLiTran thanks a lot ;)

  • are you able to put another Phantom card in there to run sli?

  • @deltaswe not on this motherboard, as I only have 2 pci express ports, and the phantom is 2,5 slot whereas the 0,5 extra size blocks the 2. pci ex

  • @GreenSLiTran Ok thanks! :)

  • Wow. the 800D makes all your hardware look tiny.

  • awsome!

    subbed!

  • Did you add color to the video ? If no then what camera u used ? its amazing

  • @justeex97 Didn't add anything, used Canon EOS 500D

  • Never ever touch the ends where gfx cards slot into your motherboard, you can damage your hardware, same goes for ram etc. Nice video and good camera work. Thank you for sharing :)

  • @Immow I am fully aware of static electricity, and also fully aware of how overrated it is.

  • WHy you using that hot box of a case for such little hardware?

I only like that case if someone is using a tripple RAD or some high end CF or SLi setup, + Plenty of HDD's, Never the less nice build.

Would reccomend putting the PCIe cables through a higher gromet as they look ugle and spoil the beauty of the Phantom. the one the sata cable coem out of.

  • @adamjamesroe

Yup, I did that shortly after I posted this video, as I realized it was a bit stupidly placed.

  • WHy you using that hot box of a case for such little hardware?

  • @adamjamesroe Upgrading to bigger shit in end of 2011

  • nice pc!

  • how much is it ????

  • @gtaboyrocks how much is wat?

  • @GreenSLiTran the pc?

  • @gtaboyrocks Oh.. alot. too lazy to look up all the parts

  • Is this the best card for overclocking

  • put an ssd on that system and it would b perfect :)

  • @kennpami1228 I have one. Intel x25-m, it just not shown in the video. (its in the bottom compartment)

  • I was wondering where you got the power cable for you SATA drives (the ones in the hotswap bays)?

  • @usaf040604 It comes with the case : ]

  • @GreenSLiTran word i appreciate it...was worried i didnt order a cable i needed for my new rig...oh and thanks for an awesome vid it really helped with a lot of questions i had about the case and setup.

  • dude you're pretty good w/ cable management. hope I can make my system that clean when I build it.

  • CPU COOLer ?

  • @h0tstepp3r A coolit eco alc

  • Cool System!!! Respect

  • Is the fan @ the radiator an intake fan?

Is it clever to have an intake fan at the bac of the chassis? otherwise nice vid :)

  • @bugatti94 Since the 800D only have one intake fan in the bottom, yes the back one also being intake isnt a very bad idea : ], also it allows for the cpu rad to get nice and cool air instead of hot air from the inside.

  • rly nice vid and sistem......the Phantom is awesome....but that tiny mobo in that giant case is just hilarious xD

  • @RafaelPerrusiCHANNEL

It's not THAT much smaller, but yeah ^^, Im not getting a bigger one before moving over to the upcoming LGA2011 socket
