@juacopage By nearly all accounts, the AC15C1 is a VAST improvement over the AC15CC1. More authentic classic Vox tone, it comes with a better speaker (Celestion Greenback), much easier to change out the tubes (don't need to pull the chassis to get to them, and it has both a Normal and Top Boost channel. Hard to beat the C1 at the price they're selling them for brand new. Even the HW1 is a tremendous deal, excellent build quality, but you lose the Reverb and Tremolo.

great demo :) I have one request,I was looking for a demo with the two channels jumped and there is nothing on the tube that sounds good. Think it's been slightly overlooked, even though most players use this settting, via A/B box. 2 channels with 3 options...please someone demo.

@SgtPepper9537 it can get clean but there is nor "clean" channel per se; there is a "normal" channel but achieving any desired sound is more a matter of literally dialing in the right mix between normal, master, and tone cut and the tone/volume dials on your guitar

sorry if this is a thicko question, i'm in a covers band and i need to switch between clean and overdriven (between songs) is it possible to get a clean and overdriven sound out of the top boost channel or do i need to switch from the normal channel to top boost?

The amp does not have channel switching,the only alternative is to get a channel switching pedal or use a pedal for heavier overdrive.Even with a channel switching pedal you will not have the option to get a sparkly clean tone and a thick crunch when you switch between the two,more like having a cleaner and dirtier option.

These amps are best with the master cranked for a compressed and jangly cleaner tone,with a little bite when you dig in,and a booster or OD pedal for crunch.

If anyone wonders if this amp is good for home practice - I think it is. I bought it a few days ago and I am impressed with how good it sound on managable volumes.

I've come to love this amp since I bought it in January. I still think bridge pickup + tone higher than 8 on guitar + tonecut turned down + top boost channel is unplayably bright, but once you figure out the best range for your guitar this amp is killer.

also, I've never heard an amp that sounds so much better when you sit about 10-15 feet away compared to when you're right next to it. if you're a bedroom player and have short cables, it's totally worth getting longer ones.

@SpookyApparition there's a bright cap mod which helps tame the high end. look it up. It really makes the tone warm up and soften. But only do it on the top boost channel. Doing it on the normal channel is unnecessary.
