The jobs that the stimulus money saved were taxpayer-subsidized public-sector jobs. As it is, everyone knows how bloated state government has become. We have doubled state spending in just 10 short years. Who is better off from all of this largesse? No one I know.
The Turnpike Authority and NJ DEP are patronage pits with tons of no-work jobs - people should be laid off. And the only reason Gov. Corzine has made budget cuts is because he had to - we have a revenue shortfall in the billions.
Yeah, let's re-elect him so we can be taxed out of our homes, more businesses shut down, more people lose their jobs, and we officially bankrupt this state ... oh, that's right, President O'Bailout won't let that happen.
Corzine shut down the state to get his way on a sales tax hike, and we lost millions because of it. He has also raised tolls and is now proposing a property tax hike - in the middle of a recession.
Corzine's incompetence has cost us big time. Now it's time for a change.

It was really courageous of Jon Corzine to fold like a cheap tent in the face of union opposition at taxpayer's expense so Joe Biden wouldn't run away from him, wasn't it?
