What I love about Arthur (and this movie in general) is that doesn't shy away from religion and in turn makes it seem beautiful, such as the Frensky family celebrating Hanukkah together. It also highlights the importance of family in Christmas and other holidays, such as Buster and his mother celebrating Baxter Day. It's a must-watch for me in December.

I started watchong Arthur's Perfect Christmas in grade one, it has now become a personal tradition of mine to watch it every year. Just like A Christmas Story, Rudolph, The Grinch or A Charlie Brown Christmas. :) I wish they stilled aired this on t.v. it is a great Christmas special/

Honestly @milestone380 i think the people at marc browns company just werent thinking like theyve done hundreds of times. Like arthur takes place in 1996 but in one episode which was to celebrete the 100 annivesary of elewood city they said that elewood city started in 1903. Now yeah the episode aired in 2003 so they were trying to make the show keep up with the years but still i would like it if they just kept it in 1996 and not 2003 or 2000(arthurs perfect christmas) or 2012.

Koser food back when the torah was new was some of the only safe foods for people who practiced Judaism to eat since people didn't know too much about hygiene back those many years ago. I used to think Francine was African American but aparently she is Polish. I love Arthur for many reasons but one is becuase you can't tell a character's heritage until you get to know them a bit more. Brain is African American but you wouldn't know it until watching this eppisode. I love how they focus on heritage as opposed to race.
