I remember the hype for this movie. I didn't understand then, but now, I think it had something to do with the fact that all the main characters in this film were all cartoons Walt himself came up with. They are all the original cartoons: first hero(Mickey) first villain(Pete) first heroine/damsel(Minne), first pet( Pluto) etc etc. All they needed though was Oswald. 8P

@JackandSally4ever Pirates of Penzance is an operetta, which is essentially an opera in English, just shorter, and with VERY SHORT scenes of dialogue. Seriously, in the whole two-ish hours of the show, there's probably not even fifteen minutes of dialogue.
On that note, the performance they're doing is rather... odd. They seem to be just singing songs from Pirates of Penzance in random order at random locations. "Cat-Like Tread" is certainly not the opening number, or on a ship.
