It's easier to plant two bodies there and a briefcase with a plane ticket to "prove" they have found "victims" than to plant real plane DEBRIS coming from that Air France A330. I would find it completely plausible that within the complete speculation of what might have gone wrong that they say, "it possibly was because of really bad turbulence, massive mechanical failure or a perhaps a bomb giving of drastic pressure change, although it is too early to say"....

A good friend of mine was on that plane.. Lucas Gagliano.. he was 24 and one of the crew members on that flight.. He was living in Paris and had come to Brazil for his father's funeral... I spoke to him one day before the crash..

it's still hard to believe this happened... when something like this happens to someone close to you, you realize how many things you take for granted... it's sad!!

It is of course a bizarre set of events, primarily and almost solely because there was no communication from the cockpit.

If the pilot had sent just one message before the plane went down, there would be none of this speculation.

Wait and see what happens when the ships arrive to recover the debris.

They've since reported the whole process the plane supposedly went through. yea...they concocted a story ASAP...turbulence? Up draft of 100mph winds? Flew into a terrible storm that radar confirms? Now you just don't fly into these storms out in the middle of the Ocean. This is fishy at best. Peace Please!

Please accept my apology. When I said "whole process" I was speaking of the "story" they concocted.

I was flying thru a lot of vids this AM and saw it; I wish I remembered or saved the vid - thought I did.... I'll check again. All I remember is that it was an "AP" report w/cheezy yellow font graphics reviewing/stating the automatic messages generated by the plane and at what time they were arriving. Loss of Cabin pressure at 11:48 GMT (or whatever).

It could be a hit by the French govt, ordering a missile be sent from the Kourou airbase in Fr Guyane against the plane after it cleared South-Am landmass. Motive unknown.

The technology exists to find undersea wrecks so I guess after all this time if they wanted to show us the wreck they would have got it out but if a missile hit it the fuselage would show the impact on left flank. Better to blame the pitots and a storm.

well the plane rapidly decompressed so i think a storm was not to blame something obviously happened onboard the plane which we wont know for a while yet but its been said now theres a high chance the plane broke up at altitude which definatley means something happened onboard

It is possible for depressurisation to be a result of lightning, or severe turbulence. It is also possible that other factors were involved. It is too early to form opinion at this time, and families should be respected by holding off for a while.

Plane searchers spot ocean debris

Brazilian aircraft have spotted debris on the ocean.

Some oil, a plane seat and other items were sighted 650km (400 miles) north-east of Brazil's Fernando de Noronha island, the Brazilian air force said.

The find can only be confirmed once the items are retrieved and the first boat is not due to arrive until Wednesday.
