@SunWhiteWolf Unknown Blood is set in the 1920's Iceland, and the wolves are considered to just be escaped ones from zoos or from shipments washed ashore, they do not know about the bunch of packs or they'd be killing them all (they only kill those they find). They killed the pups for skins and food, it was quite common to do so, and still sometimes today :P

*waits for flames* I'm not against wolf hunting for culls to keep numbers down, but I am against killing for sport of any animal.

@fluffylovey Oh no no i totally get that. I'm all for population control hunting too - wolves are cool but due to human overpopulation we have to control all other species' populations to make it somewhat okay for the animals to survive in.

What i don't get is why so many (not you directly) have their characters shot by humans and then the humans are just like "meh okay lets go and leave the pelts". Tribbs did the same thing. As do many people.

@SunWhiteWolf The fact that his brothers were slain by humans is really cool and you only said "when slash's parents found out they were horrified". You never showed the dead bodies or anything other than after they were immediately killed so it's up in the air.

Yeah, it'd be pretty rare for a human to leave a wolf even if it was for sport, but back in sort of 1800's England I know for a fact farmers would just shoot wolves on site, but just to stop them killing lambs and such. They had enough to eat and wear without the pelts, so they would either leave them or dump them further out :P (my great-great-greeeeaaattt-grand­father had a relative that did such a thing, :3)

This is a great story :) It feels similar to the whole King Henry the VIII story. He has many wives er, many of which he killed or divorced, just so he could have a son. That one son he did have died in his teens (I think) and so did his mother. He did have Queen Elizabeth, though. Lol, sorry for the gratuitous history lesson. I love the story and the pictures. You and Danger did great :)

This is awesome! You know, this kind of reminds me of Tigerstar's story. He born into a litter of three, him being the weakest. His sisters, Mistkit and Nightkit, died not long after his father, Pinestar, left ThunderClan to be a kittypet. A tom *cough* Thistleclaw *cough* changed the lively and hardy apprentice to the cat he is today.
