  • @ziengitmd. There is a clip on here called fear of enlighentenment. I forgot who made it.

  • omg how can people in the audience be sleeping i find this interesting and not boring at all

  • a wonderful speaker and teacher

  • Thanks for posting this Irisiris; great job. I am so grateful to Tony; who pulled me up when I was going down. I have read many books about spirituality. However, Tony is my favorite. In my opinion; nobody comes so clear as him in this subject. It's a shame we lost him so young when he was going around giving these conferences. Why is it that people who can truly revolutionize people's way of thinking die so young?

  • @seekeroftheworld ... why is that the most commun death for jesuits is 'heart attack', and their bodies don´t get postmortem examination?

  • Thank you for uploading these videos. Wonderful insights from Mr. De Mello. They are simple but not easy. Nice to know it took him awhile to discover them. In his books he gives credit to many different people for the ideas he shares. They are truth to me. I derive much peace from them.

  • Thank you ( all involved in getting these marvelous teachings on YouTube) for such great clarity, JOYning,

  • whatever DeMello stated on this video about love and loving someone was also said by a famous persian poet name Shamlou and also by a german poet name Margot Bickel many years ago in same exact words. true love means no attachment because the only reason your attached to someone is because you want to fed off of them to fulfil whatever you're lacking.

  • @5tranger - these are universal teachings. It really doesn't matter WHO helps up to learn them. The message is what is important

  • yes, you def. right.

  • Needs more views!

  • This is the best explanation of love I ever heard. Wonderful!

  • Such a shame he is not among us anymore, now we are more open minded, better listeneres, open for new ideas, unfortunatelly when I look at the people in the class out there I see Pure Robots who are completely enslaved to the believe system of the machine. That was 20 years ago, look how huge step we did in counsciousness through that time.

  • Can't make it? But, you are. The conditioning/programming is obstructing the view. Tony would say: Drop your attachment to your thoughts. Jiddu would say: Thoughts are old, based on your memory/neurons/synapses. Realize that thinker and the thoughts, or observer and the observed are one. Tolle adds: what matters is that you are aware and you do not identify with the thoughts produced by your brain.

  • 1986 or 1987

  • Great video:) I five starred it and am your lifetime friend and subsciber.

    be happy NOW

  • Yeah, I totally agree :D I believe that his audience was much more responsive during his "Awareness" talks.

  • This guy is great. It is kind of funny watching some of the audience. Some of them are like irritated pigs. Probably think he is a terrorist or something. He is kind of like Krishnamurti. They (Krishnamturi and him and a few others) keep taking me to the edge but I turn back, can't help it. How come I can't make it Mr. Mello? Do we nead energy or.... a .... divine help?

  • Words are programming. You are telling yourself you are on the edge and that you must turn back. New programming must occur and old programming must be erased.

  • ziengitmd, the comment by bqreus is a great insight. Thoughs are words and previous experience. If we're worried or fearful, it's both because the mind thinks it will experience something negative similar to a previous experience, or the unknown (not previously experienced) which the mind has no way of predicting. Just let go and realise deeply that whatever happens, it's going to be better than any previous experience ruled by the fear of the mind. Moment by moment. Don't fear mistakes.

  • @ziengitmd Try using Marijuana and giving these talks a listen!!!!!

  • @ziengitmd your very statement (Some of them are like irritated pigs. Probably think he is a terrorist or something) is against the nature of what he is trying to say! This negative judgemental point of view is exactly what is holding you back....i dont have a handle on this yet myself either but i can see that it is one of my greatest challenges too!
