I managed to stretch out the body atlast, then it comes to adding the shoulders and legs, I dont get the symmetry to work here? Tried with symmetry on and off, no good results, what have I missed? ^^
Blender is very cool and powerful for a free app but nothing comes close to organic modeling as Zbrush. I've been using Lightwave since version 1 and just discovered Zbrush. I haven't modeled with Lightwave since. Just try it and you'll find a way to afford it.
@TheDannyboyz2100 if you want something good you have to pay the price for it, 699 isn't that expensive if you take into account all the other 3d programs that are well over 1000
@TheDannyboyz2100 it's the best thing going for 3D sculpting, it's priced like that for companies that can make money with it, there's probably a cheaper student price.
Ty for the tutorial helped me alot in both doing dragons AND other things. But how long have u been working with zbrush to become good at it and did have u bought the program?
@DonVantel no, it's quite expensive, around $699 although they usually release a trial version so you can try it out for free and see if it's worth it to you. They don't have one available for zbrush 4 yet though, it's still pretty new.
Thank you very much. Really helpful. I'm just a beginner and i found this very easy to follow.

i think it would be much more feasible to model something in 3ds or blender and then just use zbrush for finer detail

When i moved both of the Intersection and membrane number up, but my dragon wings still look the same. Doesn't do anything! I'm using Zbrush 4.
