Shown on UK's Top Of The Pops (now cancelled) - a show that ran for 30 years or so before being axed - was famous for bands miming there hits in a tiny tiny studio, made to look full, but in fact only had about 5o people in the audience. A real shame to see Michael and co performing this here - the lyrics may well be live, but the band certainly are not performing live...its a sham, but only cos of the BBC - REM are the best live band i have heard, so they should be left that way, always!!!

what I like about R.E.M songs is that each one is unique. Its not like most bands where they just have one sad song and the rest are all the same, just rock songs with a couple of different chord changes.. And the lyrics are pure class.
