@BaracoBoy the rear driveshaft is connected to the rear of the transfer case. the transfer case is connected straight to the rear of the tranny. if the transfer case is really broke, that truck would go nowhere

Lockers keep the differential 'locked'-not allowing the axleshafts to turn at different speeds, thus enabling a tire on the ground to propell the vehicle forward even when the other is off the ground.
