  • 12 people want a ban on excitement in F1

  • 1:23 Massa was pretty smart hahaha

  • @26011987 smart? he didnt do shit he just kept the racing line and went

  • @Ch33s3Puffs i guess you are smart then ... pay attention and you will find out, or u can drive like my old lady 4 life

  • Real racing is done WHIT OUT TRACTION CONTROL!!!!!!!

  • My favorite body style of all of f1

  • Imagine this fight without TC ! EPIC !

  • FERRARO SHIT !!!!

    GREAT BMW!!!!

    FROM ITALY

  • that should look rain in f1 2010, this is realy real rain

  • it was unfair when they started to push each other out of the track (first Massa). but nice fighting anyway

  • very impresive they didnt crash! thumbs up and favorite!

  • true is that massa overtook robert, because he got out of the track on last turn.

  • intensive, brilliant racing here. love it.

  • would have been real good without traction control...

  • how do they see where they are going with all that spray?!?!?!?!????

  • @Nickomfacc they dont!!!

  • why did they use fuji instead of suzuka in 2007??

  • wow that was freaky close at some moments xd

  • best era of Massa

  • Gooo robert. my favorite driver!!

  • Thats just sick how wet that is.

  • Respect for both.

  • This was a disgrace to wet racing and a digrace to Kubica What a sloppy joke of a battle. F1 Faux fans rejoice

  • @FRFM00 Yes Massa and Kubica should be shot for this. They should never be allowed to race in the wet, ever again!

    Dumbass.

  • esse e nosso dali massa .....

  • How did Massa get the drive to win that after he went off on the last corner?

  • man its dificult so driving with rain

  • what a shit ! They were driving out of the track a lot of time.

  • just like villeneuve and arnoux fight

  • @kamcio8520 that's just what I though! XD

  • F1 drivers have my respect now, i mean, they cant see anything and they still fight against with nearly 300 km/h on wet track. I think F1 drivers have lot of spirit and balls in their pants.

  • @sunhineisonline all profesional drivers have to have big balls and be a bit crazy

  • fucking awesome

  • gotta hand it to those guys, serious guts racing wheel to wheel in awful conditions at near 200 mph...respect

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!

  • Love the sound of that traction control, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • @crazymxrider there's no traction control in F1

  • @drunkhomer You dont think I know that? You do realize this video is from a few years back when they still had TC in F1.

  • @crazymxrider there was no TC in 2008

  • @drunkhomer I know that too, but this video is from 2007.

  • i think massa was a little bit naughty

  • Ah, I remember this. Great battle.

  • Kubica just likes to pus ppl of the track :)

  • @Boocho88 bullshit... Massa has started first !!! =)

  • great battle in the rain on the last lap LOL! wow!

  • why massa slows down so much at the end of the lap

  • @hartomandilo It's the last lap and the end of the race.

  • @hartomandilo

because it was the last lap ;)

  • muy buen video, estos dos guerreros pelearon en toda la vuelta, un error y se les hubiera acabado la carrera ante de tiempo

  • kubica is the best outsider driver. he deserves a better team than renault

  • @FarmACDCFreak Renault is kicking ass. They've swept the back and middle of the field as far as car/driver development goes since the beginning of the year (remember, in '09 Renault was a back runner with Alonso). He's always in the top 7. I hope Kubica has the patience to stay with Renault and allow the program to build around him and Petrov. I'm really hoping for a surprise win from Kubica this year.

  • @aronk187 Incase you haven't notice, Kubica has extended his contract with renault :) He is happy with the changes they are making and he'll be pole any time soon, i hope in 2011 the KERS changes doesn't really affect his driving style.

  • thats racing thats what we want to see

  • Massa is just as good as Kubica. End of story.

  • Both are great drivers!

  • bravo Kubica !!!

  • Both drivers did a phenomenal job here. This is what racing is all about. A fight of the decade.

  • Kubica Ferrari 2011

  • lol, very "clean" battle :D

  • Kubica really did great there! But in todays season it looks like Massa isn't really as sharp anymore. I think Kubica can take Massa's seat in that Ferrari next season or the 2012 season if Massa don't get back into it again.

  • @dude2106 Yes, I've noticed. :/ He isn't in his best time lately... Maybe the '09 accident to blame(?).

    Still, pity.

  • @fabaum22 yeah probably. It really is a shame, because i would like to see Massa show Alonso who is the boss.

  • @dude2106 So do I, mate... Alonso isn't really my favorite driver... He knows how to drive, but he's annoiyng, somehow.

  • @fabaum22 Maybe because he will do whatever it takes to get the win... even if is complaining with the team to get pass or refuel too soon and waiting for a crash

  • nice fight

  • great battle on final lap, i remember !

  • fantastic racing by the pair

  • good massa

  • polacke no compromise : this is great RIDE.

    Bravo Kubica.

  • One of the greatest wheel-on-wheel fights ever. Both drivers at their best. If there was a Piquet or somebody like him both would have failed to see the finish.

  • The thing is that the Ferrari was a lot more of a car than the BMW. So I guess we all know who the better driver is...

  • joder..cuantas veces se echan el uno al otro...

  • lol massa likes contact, he uses all the wide of the track even if Kubica is there xD Then kubica makes the same that was a good one

  • @belmon125

You right...If Massa want to pass you,he will always touch your car. :|

  • @TakumiFujiwara80 except Mc Hammer's ;)

  • Kubi better

  • @superjarri: lol that wasn t unfair .... can you it better? its so hard to drive in this wether ...

  • One of my favourite f1 battles.

  • This is on par with the great battle between Villeneuve and Arnoux at Dijon in '79. The stuff of legend.

  • heheheh Massa > Kubica

use the rules and the car to make the best position.

  • control track humidity f1

  • Kubica brilliant driving, Massa totally unfair movements. He deserves a penalty 1:09 !!!

  • it's not racing unless ur swapping paint

  • this is definitely one of the best fights of the last times, kubica deserves a chance in big team

  • one of the best fights the last years!

  • @rfactormo you're an idiot...

  • phew they earned their money that day

  • Ultrapassagens espetaculares? Coisas de Felipe Massa.

  • Nice driving, from both! :)

  • great fight

  • Caralho! Que foda! :D

  • excellent!!!!

  • dirty massa

  • Ferrari 2 times better than bmw in that time... and even this Kubica was great.

  • @marcjusz Dude you did not just say this. If you know f1 you know that if you have rain the cars are very close togheter. It does not matter that mutch if you are in a ferrari then or a BMW

  • @marcjusz Rain is the great equalizer.

  • @marcjusz In those conditions, the car makes very little difference.

Still, good driving by Bob aswell as baby.

  • @ZePivotMaster Beetween F1 cars you can find important differences in many areas, even ease of drive in heavy rain - look at Renault R30.

  • @marcjusz 100000000000000000000000% prawdy!!!! Szacunek!!!!!!!!

  • I know the conditions must have been hard but i've always thought this whole battle was almost comical. Drive more smartly off the track and win. Stupid tarmac run-off areas.

  • i cant see sh*t with the onboard, cam it's impressive that both kubica and massa could see enough to take the risks they did.

  • If you are trying to say it's because Kubica cut the chicane at the start of S3, then he already did give the place back straight away for the corner afterwards.

  • ferrari - better car than bmw

kubica - better driver than massa

  • This is already a classic! Really awesome stuff, both of them have shown great skills pushing each other out of the track! brilliant, Massa is the man!!!

  • TREMENDO RUEDA A RUEDA.

  • Massa is the best pilot in Ferrari now. Before was Kimi and before Schumi. Now Massa is ready to go...! Alonso will no be the best mate for Massa, he is good but Massa is better. Go Massa..! get Ferrari back on track this 2010.

  • Massa is the best pilot in Ferrari now. Before was Kimi and before Schumi. Now Massa is ready to go...! Alonso will no be the best mate for Massa, he is good but Massa is better. Go Massa..! get Ferrari back on track this 2010.

  • It does look like Massa un-wound the wheel 2 or 3 times, trying to give Kubica no room

But that's not against the rules, Hamilton did it to Massa in Hockenheim 2008, and Alonso does it all the time

This is one of the best battles i've ever seen in the rain.

Surprised Kubica didn't get there first tho.

  • @tjbayliss

he had to give back position, becouse of pushing massa out of track on last corner

  • In the last corner it just looks like Kubica has done it.

I mean how can Massa get ahead when hes bumping all over the outside rumblestrip and grass

Kubica just vanished behind... and he had the inside line, so what happened :P

  • @tjbayliss

lol i've just told you, he had to give position back to Massa

  • There is no reason for him to have to give the place back.

If anything, Massa should have been given a penalty for pushing Kubica off the track 2 times.

On the last corner, Kubica has the inside line, Massa is wide, and cuts the outside of the corner.

At no stage before that did Kubica do anything wrong, that would mean he had to give the place back.

  • Comment removed

  • @tjbayliss

Kubica put his rear wheel on the slippery paint of the curb on the exit of the final corner. He got lots of oversteer and was forced to lift-off the throttle to avoid spinning, allowing Massa to beat him to the line.

You can see it external shots.

  • Ok I understand now :)

  • @tjbayliss No giving back the position there. Massa was thrown on tarmac and had somehow traction, which helped him build speed before Kubica exits the corner. The only thing to overcome is the grass between the piece of tarmac he landed into and the actual track.

  • Gilles villeneuve will be proud ....

  • its like doing the tango, but at 170mph with 900hp! lol

  • Kubica Great!

  • massa was very clean. watch again, no touching!!

however, massa hit alonso's mclaren from behind once

  • But massa touched Kubica. 1:09

  • que buen video! no habia visto la carrera!

  • Nerves of steel.....both drivers!!!!!

  • best racing moment of that season! period!

  • BEST BEST BEST EVER

  • That's just amazing... the drivers have such a bad view even without the blinding rain!

  • KUBICA THE BEST !

  • That's really fighting with a good end!!

  • they taking using all the track a bit far

  • Sensacional, não canço de vereste vídeo. Show de pilotagemtanto de Massa quanto de Kubica

  • Today these fights are very rare!

  • massa or vettel wc 2011 and im happy ^.^

  • both massa and kubica were great on this lap! Really outstanding!

  • im trying to upload some f1 vids but i wanna get rid of that f1 logo at the bottom left of the screen, coz i dont want f1 management to claim copyright on me

  • Felipe Massa é o cara!

  • I like how they each very carefully pushed each other off the road. They each came to the "i'm already there, you can't do anything about it except to risk damage by 'staying strong' on the line" and each decided the point of contention was so equivalent that they would not give in to that achievment of positional superiority, thus when their tires were aligned, each would give the other a gentle shove in the wrong direction. Thanks for putting this fascinating video on Youtube.

  • Wow that Ferrari had soo much grip . . .

  • what a fight

    fight of legends ^^

  • Amazing! é isso que se espera de um piloto da Ferrari!

  • AWESOMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • zajebiste macanie w takich warunkach masakra....

  • thats not nice. Somone keeping off the track

  • TC produces a broken sound-like a baby shaking a rattler!!!LOL

  • TC - broken sound, it's like the engine has a problem.

  • Amazing! Two galacticic drivers!

  • TC! what an awful sound! still, the most entertaining battle of the year shame it wasn't that significant, imagine if it was for the lead!

  • The traction control is working all the time lol

  • go massa uhuuuu

  • Awesome stuff!

If this fight was between Hamilton and Alonso and Hamilton took the position we would never hear the end of it, especially if ITV were still showing F1.

  • This fight was really hardcore, I was surprised they both get to finish line when I saw this for the first time. I think they both get carried away since it wasn't exactly fair play. Anyway Massa had much better car at that time which tells us much about Kubica and his skills.

  • on stretches it's still faster even on the wet track.

  • Felipe's car was better, but excuse me, on wet it wasn't. Some bad cars behave on wet like they're the best cars on the Grid( Vettel's Toro Rosso at Monza 2008 ). So this was a pretty even fight in my opinion and Felipe wasn't and isn't great on wet as was the F2007. Still, Massa managed to pass through because of his will and passion.

  • For as long as I can remember, rain has been the equalizer of cars. Now, there are cars that are designed to perform better in the rain? Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? The best drivers shine in the rain, not the best car.

  • @Desmosedici39 Do you realize how ridiculous you sound. Let me explain you what I meant, OK ?! I didn't mean someone design their cars to perform better on wet, OK ?! Where did you see that ? What I meant is the car's geometry and aerodynamics that makes it work better on dry or on wet depending on the set of tyres equiped. I didn't mean that Toro Rosso designed their car to be quick on wet. What I said is that F2008 was atrocious on wet and F2007 was too, OK ?! Now stfu !

  • @Desmosedici39 Let's put then on snow to see who's the best out there, if you think that the rain shows us the best drivers ! Bullshit ! If someone is quicker when it's dry and slower on wet, it doesn't mean he's worse than someone who's quicker on wet. Shumacher was days quicker than anyone on wet, still many thin he wasn't quicker than Hakkinen, Montoya, Alonso, Hill and others, but just could set up his car better. If you're quick on dry, you're quick on wet, u just need to set your car, OK ?

  • Listen to the TC, omg so glad that's gone now!

  • one of best F1 fight ever :)

  • Bloody brilliant.

    Superb driving from both men.

  • best batel position on 2007 seazon f1.kubica win for me!

  • 2007:

Ferrari - 22 times on the podium

BMW - 2 times on the podium

    ( If I'm not mistaken ) ;D

    who had better bolide??? ;D

  • he did not thrilled, because this guide in the brazilian

  • then say that Massa can not drive in the rain, Mass the best driver at the time.

  • He spin and spin on wet in one of the race and yes its a red car

  • This shows two of the best drivers of todays F1

  • nichts gegen massa, aber er hat kubica mehr aus der strecke rausgedrängt/geboxt als sauber überholt. Alles andere als fair ist das!!!

  • f1 işte bu ya gerçekten tek kelimeyle mükemmel supersin massa

  • 2007 Ferrari had the best traction

  • your dead right!! and they saved there tyers the best aswell id love to no how the done that back then

  • how that much water doesnt ruin those cars baffles my mind

  • The last corner's exit is bullshit. Why is it legal to take advantage of the run-of area?? It's nonsense.

  • what did massa needed to do then??? brake and spin out? or stay on his line and crash into robert?? he did very well!

  • Read with understanding - I'm not saying he'd done wrong, but he should have been penalised with adding extra seconds to his race time. He took advantage of running wide OUT of the track and that is not fair.

  • they both did multiple times, twice each. And looking at it the were side my side when massa went wide so it is debatable weather he gained an advanteg or not.

  • I think he did gain an advantage because it seems a little more dry off the track so could give it more throttle, besides - it's OFF the track, when you go off during or under overtaking you should let your opponent pass you on the following straight, am I wrong?

  • yeah, but as is normal in heavy rain the rules are more leinient, also they would have to decide weather kubica gained an advantage wit his offs. but in the old dayd do this = hero, now do this in dry weather = bad driving.
