That's just one thing. Plus, you cannot really say that there is ONE god. I, personally am an atheist, but think that it would be smarter if gods like Thor, Odin (Norse), Poseidon, Vulcan, or Ares (Greek) existed. Many gods makes more sense. It gives a stronger sense of control.

Having one God just doesn't fit. It makes it worse that he is everywhere. It means he is there when you shower or take a shit. Now that is just wrong.

if every religion in the world got together and agreed that all Gods are the same God we would still have problems in the world, mainly due to language barriers, cultural differences, (and lets just be honest) racialy based prejudeces.

It would be nice to have all gods be one and to have all men live in peace concerning religion but we would only have ridden ourselevs of one of the many stubling blocks that bar the way to a more perfect world.

The message should be that life is made up of many forces all happening naturally and spontaneously. To give it a single name is too vague.

We'd all have to agree first that religions are all man made fantasies that brainwash people. And that God is an idea humans created out of their imaginations to explain things and since there are many types of humans we have many types of ideas of God.

So saying there is only one God, really isn't saying anything.

Hi Lendusaquid, you're misunderstanding 'oneness'. The 'same' God is the negative thoughts in your head. The 'same' God is the 'positive' thoughts in your head. God is both of these thoughts, and all points inbetween. You are in essence, God's vessel, and all you think feel and experience, is God, as You. And yes, you are totally unaware of this, until now. Ya I agree. I want to make a video on it too but its so touchy. Even science has a name for god but they call it the universe. They think its different because they think in our minds god is an old man in the sky guiding us like chess pieces. Obviously its not true, we are a piece of god just as a cell is a piece of our bodies. :)

I like hearing different perspectives of the concept of God.

I grew up Lutheran in the traditional sense but have grown so far away from teachings. No one really knows anything when it comes to knowing what the truth is...in my opinion...we are all just speculating.
