    Regards

    Arie

  • Easily one of my favorite guitarists! I love it! Question: How do you get that tone? Settings? Do tell... sounds amazing!

  • @billywjr73 Ohh thanks :-) - best advice I have on tone is to watch my Setup video when I recorded doug seven track. I probably should do a new one soon...new amp since and changed a little on the setup...the weird thing is I pretty much have same sound....guess the guy behind the tele also has an influence :-)

  • This has obviously been up for a while. How did I miss it? GREAT pickin' my friend! Play that thang!!! Yeeeeee hawwwww!!!

  • @USC12B Thanks soo much Donna. Hugs from Denmark ;-)

  • YES to the instructional viddy PLEASE! just a tight shot on the hands then another replay in super slow-mo would be SO GREAT!!!!! Keep on pickin' !!!!

  • this is INSANE and tasteful guitar playing, sir! I have been playing for 30 yrs. I cannot even begin to think about playing this well. F-ing fantastic. Can you please break this down in a "tell all" video? That... would be the best. Or perhaps you have website with online guitar instruction. I want your play by play in slow mo!

  • @howellbuzz thanks a mega-lot. I get many requests for some instructional videos...I should pull myself together and do something about it. Im a lousy teacher...but maybe some video stuff in slow-mo can do it most of the way...will consider...thanks for kicking in on my channel :-)

  • You have a really nice tone man good job. Also what are you using using ?

  • Tasteful tone and playing. Just awesome.

  • very very good ! 5*****stars

  • man i use logic and i have the tc impact. im trying to record vocals into logic and i cant do it. i can do it on garageband but it wouldnt find the interface in logic. i dont see it lsited anywhere. i can hear my self in the mix from the moniter but i cant actualy record onto logic.

  • @DrumNBum @DrumNBum yeah..the TC can be e teaser to setup sometimes. Only tip I got is to pay good attention to the Master Module strip in TC control panel. There's a DAW MIX IN and a 100% button. To get monitor from one tracks in cubase I select 100%. That way I dont hear anything other than what Cubase hears. But after mixing I forget to deselect it for normal usage and I always have to remember my self to check that button. Hope you find the reason.

  • @lambadalasse ended up fixing it. for somreason it wouldnt recognize the interface. i restarted everything then booted the software then it worked. didnt know you have to boot up tc then boot up your daw to make it work. well thats the way it worked for me. oh well. simple troubleshooting. thanks anyways ;)

  • I have just bee schooled.

Sir , You have educated me , I have seen the light.

no more will I ever just jazz or swamp , I will classic country from now on.

  • @azkeyz haha...thank you....goog student ::-)

  • I would like to see jazz played by you, actually. I love the sound of the tele, and the way you play it exceptional.

  • @WeCamefortheDead thanks a lot. I would like to jazz also...I think I will give it a shot. Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting, dude, great job.

Have you got the tabs to share.

    Terry

  • @Terryobrien2 Hi Terry. Sorry - got no tabs...I did decipher it with slow-downer

  • @lambadalasse Hi, thanks anyway dude.

  • Mate, that's absolutely fantastic. love the sound of that telly, what pickups are using?

  • @derksify Hi and thanks. Bridge pup is Seymour Duncan Vintage ‘54 Lead STL-1. Neck is the original. Cheers

  • that was awesome!

  • yeah! great! i love it! greets!

  • ... i actually wanted jazz :(

  • Fanstactic tone! What gear was used in this video?

  • @GrahamYoungGuitar You can see the gear I used in my video called "

Gear & Sound setup when I recorded Doug Seven / Vince Gill video" - it was same setup

  • i really wish you did a video of swamp style , its an awesome moody music , i would love to hear it from you , great stuff anyway keep makin the vids

  • @6paidaa Thanks. Its in my mind the whole time to make. I just havent got stuff to listen to that can throw me into it. Its like its always just a few riffs but not enough to do for a video. But I keep collecting new and hope for one swampy thing one day :-) best regards

  • You never cease to amaze me buddy! Truly great stuff (totally jealous!!!!!!)

  • @fivetrax Thanks sooooo much....:-)

  • I almost pissed in my shorts @ .47. WOW.

  • Excellent playing! Very tasteful :-)

  • FEDT!

Hygs

  • That is VERY WELL DONE my friend!! That is some of the cleanest, best tele playing on youtube bar none. Keep it up!!!!

  • @morgansibley ohh...thank you very much *blush* :-)

  • Nah, nah, when I wrote that the compression was 'tight,' I meant that it was 'compressing nicely.' I was trying to figure out if you had simply mic'ed your live rig (it sounded very natural like you had) or had some sort of digital direct modeling set up. No - it was well done, like we would try to get in a studio. But technology aside, your playing is what made this clip work so well.

  • Awesome!!! Very well done Lars! I love it! Fantastic tone and fantastic playing! Congratulations on another winner!

  • @mnicholson2003 Thank you ever so much Mr. Nicholson. Wifey has promised me MAZ 18 NR end this year...cant wait...imma gonna spread the sounds from that babe arouuuuund the gloooobe :-)

  • @lambadalasse

I can't wait to hear that!!! Nice!!

  • great picking and sound ... the track was just too short .. thumbs up

  • wow!! great pick!

  • @rupertsteel Rupert Rupert....thank youuuuu....best greeting from Denmark.

  • Sounds excellent. What are you playing through - direct into computer or live amp? Sounds like some very tight compression. Really nice. You should teach it to us...

  • @Paneedrabbit Thanks. It's through my Twin Reverb with a DI box put between amp and speakers. Then the signal is sent to Presonus TubePre and into Impact Twin soundcard. Yes compression is a little to tight but I think this setup always gives that sound. Compressor is CS-2 only very little engaged.

  • Excelent !

  • Awesome pickin' after 0:20 and GREAT tone!

  • @GuitarMike1 Thanks - I've just subbed you....great page...next birthday in this house will be with you edition...at max power :-)
