I haven't watched this since right after it was uploaded. The fact that Corin can barely get through the song because she's crying so hard sends me over the edge. Good God, what an amazing, brave performance from an amazing, brave band.
@ideamedea the worst, saddest and most beautiful thing to happen to rock and roll in the past decade.
i bawl every time i watch this. stupid obsessive thinking of mine, but i was just now wondering why Janet didn't back Corin up vocally, and then realized she could have-- possibly-- also been crying. and THAT sent me over the edge.
@ourvoltage -- OH, BELIEVE ME-- I've definitely thought about it. I'm an absolute S-K lunatic. I also loved this choice of song because it illustrated S-K's strength as a band and the individuals' love for one another and their outstanding chemistry/synergy; being that Corin wrote it about her breakup with Carrie back in 1996 or 1997, and yet the band stuck together to produce 9-10 more years of amazing and inspiring music.
And to think-- I have never had the pleasure of seeing them live :/
