  • it sounds like a steve vai's song

  • LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG

  • I actually like this song.

  • Quite simply awful!

  • @steveparadox1 fuck you

  • A good song from Smashing Pumpkins, finally Billy Corgan has understood how to make good songs again! Reminds me of the good Pumpkins-days, can't wait for the album!

  • On of the few SP songs with a bassline that stands out as much as this, usually the bass is there but not to audible. Not sure how I feel about that.

  • Omg, this one is really cool! (:

  • Pretty decent. I was losing faith in the Ye Ole Punkins but for Billy I gotta hold out for one last hope/dream/prayer/wish. He's given me so many.

  • @ImmobileArts have you checked out the new material for oceania? its pretty good

  • I'm not so much into siamese dream nostalgia, i like everything they made till american gothic, specially MCATIF and Adore, but I'm sorry guys, I find Tiergarden really really bad, it's the first time I don't like SP songs, and it has nothing to do with nostalgia, the melodies of the voice are terrible and the music just forgettable.

At least the couple of songs I listened from Oceania seem much better... I hope the album it's not like these horrible free downloads.

  • Great song! Can`t wait to see them live in Glasgow on november the 13th.

  • This song pwns

  • greatest new pumpkins song to date after zeight

  • To be honest, I'm really loving Teargarden. All songs are different but so great. You can tell Billy is putting a lot of effort in the songwriting.

  • i love the new songs there realy good i just wish there was a tiny less synthisizer

  • @avgerinos45 oceania is apparantly less synth so look forword to that,

  • What are everyone's favourite songs off this album? I cant decide!

  • @charlotte474 freak usa is just to amazing for words

  • @charlotte474

I'd have to go with "A Stitch in Time"

  • @charlotte474 A Stitch In Time

  • so much better then zeitgeist all but like 2 songs were a faill on that album.....

  • The intro reminds me of a more delicate and artistic "Go with the flow" by Queens Of The Stone Age

  • So far, the best song from Teargarden by Kaleidyscope!

  • Comment removed

  • where can i find dis instrumental ?

  • THEY R DE KINGZ IN DIS GENRE..<3 N DIS IS THE BEST SONG OF TEARGARDEN...DE BEGINNING IS GEORGEOUS

  • best song of recent times is stellar

  • At first I just didn't get this song at all, but it's really grown on me a lot from listening to it a few times over. I love it now. It's weird - had a hunch it might grow on me.

  • AHH THE PUMPKINS I LOVE ARE STILL ALIVE<3 BEST SONG OFF OF TEARGARDEN SO FAR!!

  • Fuck SP fans. Long live the Smashing Pumpkins. Billy, I'm so sorry you have the most disloyal fans ever. You are such a good artist. You did not deserved that!.

  • You can make this happen, Beyond your doubt, You can make this happen... All right now!

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG! One of their best new songs! :)

  • This is a great song, probably the best so far next to 'A Song for A Son' in my opinion. To all the haters: Just the Pumpkins don't sound like 'Siamese Dream' anymore doesn't mean the songs aren't any good. Billy will never lose the ability to write a good song.

  • Help! Is there another SP song with a similar guitar intro? A little heavier, though.

I have the guitar intro in my head, but I can't remember what song it's from!

    ~Many thanks

  • @TheUltraDude i think your your thinking of "DIA" off of Corgan's solo album

  • @stell4r1 Unfortunately not.

I haven't even heard most of thefutureembrace

  • love nicole's vocals in this song. so glad this band is putting out positive vibes and plunging into a musical journey without looking back or having second thoughts.

  • One of the best songs so far=)

    Cant wait to hear more.

  • I've listened to A LOT of smashing pumpkins... this is probably their best song yet.

  • I still think the first volume is the best, but this one is pretty great!

  • All you have to do is pop in Gish....Select Siva....and then you will realize that the "pumpkins" aren't what they were. Sorry but I'm an old school warrior and I hate this new shit. Sorry Billy lovers. Reality hits hard and the truth hurts. I call it as it is.

  • @p0479 That's pretty arrogant to say, as though your opinion is better than others. I think this is a great song. The Pumpkins/Corgan has changed over the years, so it is impossible to compare one era to another; he does not write the same style of music as he used to. Gish definitely kicks ass, but Corgan has become a much better song writer since 1991.

  • @p0479 Siva is meh. You could've picked better songs.

  • @p0479 All you have to do is pickup a copy of "American Gothic" or "If All Goes Wrong" and you'll see that he hasn't lost his song writing ability. I bet you stopped listening to The Smashing Pumpkins when "Adore" came out didn't you ha, ha, ha.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 "ha, ha, ha"? Are you a little girl? No wonder you think the way you do. I listened and had hopes of liking and I did not. Sorry fella. It is all subjective afterall.

  • @p0479 I'm a twenty-one-year-old man and I'm stating an opinion. American Gothic, If All Goes Wrong, and The 20th Anniversary Tour CDs and MP3s are great and there's no denying that. I will admit I didn't like Songs For A Sailor and Song For Son was the only good song, but the whole of The Solstice Bare was great. I don't care who is in the band if the music is good I will listen to it.

  • @p0479 >States opinion as if it were a fact

    Yeah that's cool bro.

  • @p0479 don't be afraid of change. Smashing Pumpkins is definitely my favorite band EVER. Listen to If All Goes Wrong, the documentary. It's put very simply that the needs of the artist are going to change, regardless of what your nostalgia wants. You can still pop in Gish whenever you want, Billy created that for you to enjoy for all time. Meynard Keenan of Tool said it something like this "I don't headbang anymore, but if you wanna listen to that shit still, buy the cd"

  • Wow, this is actually pretty good. This along with Tom Tom and Freak are the best ones so far. Teargarden just keeps getting better and better.

  • It sounds like plastic pumpkins. It lacks what Billy use to do. It's rushed/forced poppy junk. Sorry, I don't like it compared to what he use to put out. Be honest with yourself. This is less than B side material.

  • @p0479 btw if he were whoring out the pumpkins brand he wouldn't of even tried to make a new album or new music or give out free music to begin with he would of played just a greatest hits tour, either way whether you like it or not Billy Corgan is bolder then you could ever be in your life he is doing exactly what he wants to do with a BAND HE CREATED!

  • did they name this EP yet?

  • @YouHumbleNarrator88 not yet but I don't think it will be an EP. More like 1/2 an EP cos I think only 2 songs will be released in this batch. Billy has plans for a new direction on TBK which he'll hopefully announce soon.

  • Good song. But I still think Tom Tom is the best song off TBK so far.

  • @msj56 I agree Tom Tom sounds like it fell of of Starlight to Twilight, you know sort of like Cupid De Lock, or By Starlight.

  • Love it!

  • I'm really sat on the fence with this one

  • Very good stuff. This song and last one (The Fellowship) are 2 of my favourite songs since the Machina album.

  • Wow I love this song!!! Now this sounds like the band that I've come to love over the years. Along with "The Fellowship" "Tom Tom" and "A stitch in time" I must say that these songs are a huge improvement over the other four songs on T.B.K. My patience with this band is paying off.

  • this song is their best by far so far.

  • Its a fun song people have got to take their heads out of their tight asses, if you didn't think the rose march, tom tom, stellar, or taranutula were top modern pumpkins songs then fuck off and listen to the never changing foo fighters, or some other mediocre bands of today

  • @NosferatuNite hey dude listen to white limo then tell me the foo fighters haven't changed. shut up bro

  • I like it. it's fun to listen to. that's what it's all about, right?

  • Thumbs up if you're tired of people whining for the old days. Live in the now. Imagine if you were tied to the things you created and the choices you made 15-20 years ago. If Siamese Dream and MCIS are all you want then don't listen to new SP anymore. That simple. The guy who wrote that song that made you cry and feel understood in 1996 has changed. Be thankful they're not just bringing a greatest hit package to your nearest arena every 9 months. Lightning Strikes is wicked.

  • @mitchpollock - Couldn't agree more! Lightning Strikes is really cool, I'm loving it! That chorus is ridiculously catchy.

  • @mitchpollock yeah i'm also tired of those "oh SP is nothing without Iha/ D'arcy" crap! SP has evolved. For those who don't like it, can always go back to Siamese Dream -era

  • @mitchpollock I like living the past, the present and the future of SP. ¿So what? By the way, when I met Billy Corgan in 2010, I gave him a record of my band that has a mix of old & fresh sound and he adored it (pls. don´t miss the "in the future" video in my channel) BEST REGARDS! :)

  • This is a good song. 4/5

  • In my opinion, this song is alright, but it doesn't knock my socks off, so to speak. To me, their material has been sort of hit-or-miss since they reformed. "Lonely Is the Name" sounded really good, but this one isn't as good to me. Hopefully, it'll grow on me. Billy said that the original band was one that couldn't last...probably due to the friction between them, but I believe that that friction actually gave birth to great music in turn. 5 words sum it up: "Thru the Eyes of Ruby" :-)

  • I think I'm done. I've stuck with this guy forever and I'm to the point of done. The Adore album was my last love. Nothing better than Gish, SD, MCIS, and Adore and all the shit in between, but this new stuff is real bad. Sorry Billy but damn, this is hard to like.

  • @p0479 see ya

  • @p0479 let me ask you something have you listened to.......The Rose March, Stellar, Ma Belle, My love is winter, As Rome burns yet? those songs are amazing , if you don't like those or even hate them then your stuck in past mr. nostalgia....but Im honestly wondering if you listened to those yet?

  • @NosferatuNite Yeah, I've heard all of those. They're okay. Not nearly as good as his older stuff IMO. It's all subjective so chill out with the name calling. I disagree with you. Get over it.

  • @p0479 if you don't like those then I guess you should move on to another band then, just my opinion because those are true pumpkin songs in league with stuff from the 90s I will admit though billy isnt as consistent as he was back in the day but still makes some great tunes

  • @NosferatuNite Check out the band "Girls" They have a song called "Carolina" The beginining of it sounds very similar to "Porcelina of the Vast Oceans" on Mellon Collie. Pretty good song. Real long though.

  • @NosferatuNite Funny how you didn't mention this song in your list of "have you listened to" Even you know through your denial of a dead band, that this song is weak. Just admit that the Billy Corgan experience is dead. He pushes out shit lately. I feel sorry for him. He should quit whoring out the Pumpkins brand.

  • @p0479 I didn't mention Lightning Strikes because I think it'd be obvious to the person reading my comment that that song is on the fucking page your viewing, I'm not in denial of nothing, I still honestly really enjoy the new smashing pumpkins, yes its different then the old stuff, and I feel its not as consistent, But he still makes great songs I love listening 2 Lightning strikes to me is a fun song its not epic or amazing but enjoyable..u shouldn't feel sorry for him he's having fun

  • @NosferatuNite Please these comments make us Pumpkins fans look like brainless chickens. Am I stuck in the past for not liking the same songs as you do? Holy crap, some of these songs you mention I really do think of as not good at all (ma belle, love) It's only a matter of respecting a band with a huge and timeless legacy for what they are to not swallow everything that gets put out. There's no such thing as fighting the good 'fight' in music, only in a world where one got endlessly frustrated

  • @NosferatuNite 99 Floors, Owata, No Surrender.

  • Sounds like H.I.M's Killing Lonliness. Beautiful.

  • I still like it.

  • Fucking coolist shit ever

  • awesome song!!!

  • I`m so glad they didn`t name the song "Zen Baby", "Lightning Strikes" is much more epic

  • I'm not sure yet. It isn't bad, but it doesn't hit me like a lot of their really good stuff does, I liked what I heard off their last album., Tarantula rocked.

  • THIS SONG IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Happy 44th Birthday Billy Corgan

  • A very good number 9 to their first block of 10. Beginning on free release song number 11 we are going to hear a heavier pumpkins. Billy has said he has his Big Muff Pedal out for the writing of those songs and that he is loving them.

  • i feel nothing

  • LOVE IT! This appeals to my 1980's rock love!

  • Pretty solid track. I like that the whole band is involved in the recording process now days. Still waiting on My Love Is Winter studio recording.

  • thank you for posting this!!!!!

  • It doesnt beat Tom Tom. All the songs from zeitgeist to now seems to lack that "warmth" that made the Pumpkins so popular; perhaps layering more guitars (like SD) could achieve that sound. Plus tiny guitar riffs that continue throughout the song.

  • Really liking this one, best drums, chorus, and production yet. TbK is getting exciting all over again!

  • Isn't Zen Baby an entirely different song?

  • @narcolepticchairftw He just renamed it. If you listen to the low quality sound recording of Zen Baby when it was done live you can tell they are the same song.

  • I LOVE IT!!!

  • Biggest pumpkin problem.....alternative/grunge died...have struggled to find a new base, but if you can forget the 90's for a bit and pretend this is a new song from a totally unknown artist, really it's pretty good...if you're in to stuff like this anyway...I'd have to say I think it's alright, might put it on a CD for my car.

  • i think it's decent... the problem is when you have to wait 4 months for a song your expectations grow too high. if he released them closer together, they might get a better reception.

  • @YouHumbleNarrator88 I see where you're coming from, but...

Just try not to sit on the edge of your seat for this album. Keep your mind occupied with other bands or whatever else works for you, and occasionally check back to see where it's at. That's what I've been doing, and it's set my expectations at the right level. Of course this isn't going to be a perfect or a masterpiece, but it's still cool.

  • Absolutely BLINDING Song!!! The planets have aligned & the Pumpkins are on a New high! .....& I'm HAPPY!!! :)

  • amazing record!

  • Very good song! Mike's drumming is getting better and better as well! Nicole did a great job as well. :P Great job on the vocals!

  • I think Im hooked on this band possibly. Im not sure yet, I have to hear there other songs before its finalized in my mind.

  • @TheMykcal Check out their albums Siamese Dream and Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

  • Ehh...

  • Not feeling it. Billy used to use emotion, this song lacks any.

  • When DIA meets The Fellowship.... Love it!

  • @helio123 its awesome indeed!!!...but it sounds more like when ''come on lets go'' (from zeitgeist) meets DIA xD

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLY CORGAN! <3

He will always be my greatest inspiration.

This track is amazing. Anyone who says the new Smashing Pumpkins isn't good or brilliant just like the old tracks are tone DEAF.

  • @firedevotion Agreed! I got your back!

  • See Billy, see how awesome it can be if you hand off backing vocals?? Wicked track.

  • Great song!!!!! ♥

  • Good song :D

All these guys who commented are from O-Board :D

    Cya

    Vjetz :)

  • thx!!! song is awesome!

  • Amazing song! Thanks for the upload.
