I went on a 'pilgrimmage' to magnificent Mount Wilson Observatory in March 2008 for five days (layoffs can be a great thing because you can do what you want) and it was cold but nothing like this!
Was that the 4 foot dump that they had on the San Gabriels? I remember Mt. High getting that much snow in one storm, which is rare for the So. Ca Mountains.

Thats more snow than what we have here in Edmonton,Alberta this year.
