This game is too annoying especially having to replay large chunks of a level because a check point won't trigger and you get instantly killed by an enemy that you couldn't possibly have seen, most of the game involves trying to shoot a tiny barely visible spec in the distance when your gun won't stay the fuck still this game is far more frustrating than fun i'm glad i only paid £10 for this.
This is probably one of the most realistic warfare games out there today, involving realistic firefights, realistic objectives team work and little details like tactical bounding and target indication between the team members. i think the most unrealistic thing really is that everything goes to plan lol. It still makes me laugh when i see people who play cod wanting to go into the forces thinking its all like cod when this is the only thing that gets close

The two things i didnt like about this game, is that you couldnt make missions like you could in the first one and it wasnt free roamable, but im hopng they bring back both those things that would make it really awsome!
@Corbin2156 once you find the sam sites just use your demo to blow them up just look in your inventory for remotdetenater and place them as close to the Sam's as you can and push your detonator.

Me and my friend beat this on hardcore, and it was the most epic thing i've ever played. Moving base to base, Planning each assault, We were at the lighthouse and were trying to get a good shot on the APC, then half the guys rushed the hill we were on, suddenly, I hear, Two's down! And I'm like WINTERS!!!! So i run over spraying the tree line but i get gunned down by those filthy yellow bastards, so my friend pulls me up and we finish the job. It was pitch black by the time we got the achievment

@Tom Space13 its not that much better i have both and graphic wise of is much better and i play on alienware so its not my pc its just a fact of is better looking. arma 2 has much more content and a better online community but as gameplay is concerned there both very good games.
I've just flown around the island seven times clockwise and anti-clockwise and still it won't give me the fucking achievement. I was flying around at night when the mssions pretty much all complete so can someone tell me whether you have to do it during the day ingame?
Oh, I didn't know where the helicopter was, thank you. This game is awesome; difficult to learn how to play but after the 5-6 part you get the hang of it and then it's just amazing and there's a lot of stuff to come back for more.
@harryere2k9 there is a sam site at the light house (shown on screen) and there is another sam site near the helicopter itself, you can leave the sunburn as it is an anti ship missle and wont attack the helicopter.

On the ridge south east of the hellicopter are some ruins, in there youll find some ammo crates and inside a Barret 50.c :) makes the mission alot easyer with a nice rifle
you dont have to destroy the sam sites, just fly at a low altitude and they cant fire at you, i done it on normal and so did GamePlayUK so that explains y u didt get it
@warmonger735 Your looking in the wrong place mate, u found the javelin right at the top of the map.. the 50 cal is on the left side of the map where the hellicopter is... top of the hill at tat beac is some ruins with a crate of guns in ... a M4 a M16 and the Barret 50.c
Try watching youtube playthroughs to get an idea of tactics. Use your men by barking orders such as follow and wedge formation etc. Take it slow and use the overhead map to prioritise targets while you stay in cover. Hope that helps

i once found a chopper on mission 3 but i couldn't get in or repair it, i guess this is because it wasn't supposed to be there, or is there a mission where you learn to fly one and you can't get in one till that mission is complete?
This game isn't bad, its just not fun until you get into vehicles. Everything else is just too damn hard. And so unrealistic too. The one mission you have to take down Mount Surifunkinbachi with 4 guys! Thats realistic!

What Codebastards seems to have forgotten is that their making a video GAME. Its supposed to be, you know, FUN? The authenticity with dying after getting shot only a few times, the sounds of the guns and vehicles, along with the overall design is fine. What isn't is the fact that some of the missions are bull
Firstly its a combat simulator, dont like it? dont buy it! secondly, it is more rewarding completing a difficult mission with active enemy AI then COD type games, where the enemy repeat the same actions every time you play the level. After finishing a mission with no checkpoints it is very, very rewarding.. Which missions are Bull? You will die after a few shots, especially depending on where you are hit. Headshot, dead straight away if it is large calibre or very accurate. much more interesting
and people espect to kill a thousand people like call of duty. its an open world game mostly so it aint you have to go somewhere at the exact moment its like real life

Try watching youtube playthroughs to get an idea of tactics. Use your men by barking orders such as follow and wedge formation etc. Take it slow and use the overhead map to prioritise targets while you stay in cover. Hope that helps

i once found a chopper on mission 3 but i couldn't get in or repair it, i guess this is because it wasn't supposed to be there, or is there a mission where you learn to fly one and you can't get in one till that mission is complete?

This game isn't bad, its just not fun until you get into vehicles. Everything else is just too damn hard. And so unrealistic too. The one mission you have to take down Mount Surifunkinbachi with 4 guys! Thats realistic!

Ok I'm gonna start off with the classic, "FUCK YOU!", and then I'm going to move on to more practical issues. What I'm reffering to is the games total lack of reward through extreme effort. What Codebastards seems to have forgotten is that their making a video GAME. Its supposed to be, you know, FUN? Firstly its a combat simulator, dont like it? dont buy it! secondly, it is more rewarding completing a difficult mission with active enemy AI then COD type games, where the enemy repeat the same actions every time you play the level. After finishing a mission with no checkpoints it is very, very rewarding.. Which missions are Bull? You will die after a few shots, especially depending on where you are hit. Headshot, dead straight away if it is large calibre or very accurate. much more interesting
