Pretty sure the Aussies have beaten them recently and We (England) held them to 10 points and are nowhere near full potential (a full revival remains to be tested later today), but the world cup is a long way away and aren't NZ favourites every year?! That there is more than enough reason to hold it. Personally I think it'll be pretty well contested, and I cant wait!

...pretty sure it was a 5 on 2 in NZ favour. A highschool team could have taken advantage of that! Still this could be down to NZ physicality drawing players in, therefore credit where due, but with a better defence England could have won that game. In my opinion the authority NZ have in world rugby is fast being shut down...

Agreed, great game. I wouldnt agree that NZ are miles ahead of the rest of the world though. I mean ive only seen the highlights on this game, but it looks to me like England just lacked defensive structure. They got outnumbered on the wings far too many times. Example Hose Gear's second try. I'm not taking anything away from the move, a great show of strength first by McAllister then Gear... but I dont know what the commentator was on about when he said there was nothing on...

England have improved from their dull years of forwards and kicking, but NZ is so far ahead of the world at the moment it's not even funny. Next year's world cup in NZ may as well not be held - All Blacks will stroll it and NO ONE will get within 10 points of them I predict in any game.
