i got this when it came out and i love it!!!!!!!! i blew up my coworkers for fun and i blew up my brother too. it was fun and it would be a good tool for a young and very new learning director for them to use. can make a mini movie on your phone or ipod touch and can shoot and edit anywhere. its pretty cool.

Hi matt. Ive got a problem. I have an basic imac 27'' (2009) an i bought final cut pro. I updated it to lion... And both running is quite annoying. With the background rendering, everything laggs. If i apply some slo motions,, i have to wait 5 minutes before i can continue. Which mac could solve this problem? A mac pro is to expensive. Does a mac 27 3,4 ghz 4 gb ram is ok? Are 4 gb of ram enough? Is is ony 300$ cheaper than the mac pro, but there i havent to buy an cinema display of 1000$. Plea

@Trsmoothie Nope, it's really impressive. Don't get too hung up on the technical aspects of it. As a whole package- interface, quality, ease of use- this app is an achievement that deserves all the praise it's been getting. It's not the details behind it but the execution that makes it impressive.

I love how all other reviewers showed samples that just involve the effects on flat surfaces, but Matt is more creative so he gets in the video and jumps out of the way. Nobody else would have done that. Awesome.

@LinuxFan2011 heres a tip the same was happenning to me. all you have to do is turn off your ipod and turn it back on. that works on ANY app that crashes! hope i helped :)

@MattsMacintosh No. Absolutly not. Smartphones have now the specs of PC where I edited my videos year ago. Doing the exactly same thing. You know how to edit. You know how useful alpha channels are. Pasting them over a video is not impressive at all. It's the very most basic of compositing. If this app automaticly adjusts the color of the effects clips, to fit your footage, than I'm starting to get mindly impressed. If this was an app at Iphone 1 times, than it might be worthy to notice it.

@Sk4zZi0uS Just that... smartphones have the same specs as PCs years ago. Machines where I made the exactly same things and more. Heck those things are dual core now with at least 512MB RAM!!! This app would have been impressive years ago. Well not even than. Alpha channels are not magic at all. They are basics of compositing. It's one of the most easiest things to do. If this app automaticly adjusts colors of the effect videos, than it might gets mildly impressive.
