Obviously this is a hot pepper. I ate one (not sure of variety) awhile ago, during dinner at a Thai restaurant, and was told, during my 'heat' experience, that white wine would help. As I recall it did. So for me it is white wine....:)

scotch bonnets are the hottest chillis available in UK supermarkets. I bought a packet of 5 today for 98p from sainsburys. I ate a third of one witht the seeds and pith and it killed.

Haha, very funny clip, well done Ben! As someone else mentioned, the bhut jolokia is by far the worlds hottest chilli, but from what i see the only way to get them in Ireland is to either buy them dried or get the seeds (both over the internet)and grow them yourself. Chilli's kick ass.

According to guiness the bhut jolokia is the hottest. The dorset naga average is about 800,000 to 850,000. The bhut is about 900,000 to 1,000,000 SHU's of heat.

Not saying the scotch bonnet is not hot cause it is [slight edge over the orange habanero], but the bhut jolokia so far is king.
