  • I love Ambassel music. So nostalgic so Ethiopian !!

  • What a great piece of music ! Thank u for posting this.

  • THANK YOU 4 UPLOADING

    AND AWESOME VIDEO.

  • masterpiece

  • 2 people dislike this because they are JEALOUS!!!!

  • Can anyone translate what Dawit says at the beginning of this song???? : )

    Thx!

  • @Jodino Its a poetry in Amharigna, but a pros translation of what he said would be something like: " Isn't it better to go to Ambasel than worrying ( thinking too much) in the world of reminiscence?" To better understand the meaning, it would be good if you know about the place Ambasel and the style of music called Tizita ( reminiscence).

  • @abelgz This song is simply a tremendous source of inspiraton. Thx for the info, I'll look it up. ;)

  • This singer is amazing - Saw his interview with Ethiopian TV recently and am fascinated by his humbleness, sharp answers, and demeneaour (tehetena). His dad was perhaps the most accomplished and yet lttle acknoledged artist in HagerFiker and in all of Ethiopia. The unique thing about Dawit's dad, Frew, was

that he was out of his league and had lists of exceptionally beautiful songs like

Eshururu, Gumu Garedogen New, Menfesen Lemades, Almaz Meneda new, etc. Keep it up Dawit - Degitu
