I don't understand the point in running C16XQ at that high of a resolution... you might want to take some screen shots for yourself and compare because it looks the same as 8x and there isn't even a major difference even at 4xMSAA.

Oh I agree. Just saying, if you're dipping to 41fps with it, it doesn't seem worth it. I'm an fps whore by nature... and to most people, myself included, there's a noticeable visual steadiness when you're always above constant 60fps to at least match the refresh rate of the screen. Makes the game look/feel smoother, which imo is far more noticeable visually than, say 16xAA vs 8xAA, which to having compared myself at that resolution look identical using the same video card, btw.

And also, the 9800GTX+ doesn't clock to 790 or 1960. There are clocking steps so the core does 787, 793, 799, and so on. The shader goes 1945, 1998, and so on. Open up EVGA Precision, you'll see what I mean when the charts on your speeds appear. ;-)
