Example Honda designed and built this plane in the US - Ohio and West Virgina. Also they think they invented the Shinkansen bullet train however they got the tech from the Germans and the Germans got it from two US engineers. Honda engineers said it's more efficient not in all the wing but only if they're located in the right place (as they say they are on the Hondajet). On top of the wings the engines have less chance of swallowing little objects of any kind, dust, water or any other "contaminant" that could be on the ground.

Honda engineers said it's more efficient not in all the wing but only if they're located in the right place (as they say they are on the Hondajet). On top of the wings the engines have less chance of swallowing little objects of any kind, dust, water or any other "contaminant" that could be on the ground.

When my father went to play to Honda motor company,
Mr.Honda was building a motorcycle with a tool in his hand.
At that time Honda was very little. It was only 3 person company.

Speaking as an outsider, here's a question, what are Honda's long term goals for the general aviation market if the hondajet was a success?
Will they be just create similar bodied jets to challenge the likes of Cessna, or do they have more ambitious goals challenging the dominance of Boeing and Airbus with bigger passenger Aircraft?

i do hope honda produces affordable propellers because i am scared to fly planes like the cessna. cessna is better one among american companies, but still, honda is the golden boy of reliability.

Calm down, man! The stuff must be properly tested yet. Remember when Honda entered F1 race team recetly. They promissed leadership in few years time and invested lots of money... but the results are a complete failure. The mechanics and engine are not that bad, but the problem is... aerodinamics! The japanese engineers have not found yet the secrets for tricking the wind in F1 races... do they find it in the new jet? Let's wait further tests before this fanatic "best-best-best" game.

What an excuse! You can always justify a failure by political problems. Thats ridiculous! What would Honda say to the jets potential buyers? "In case we don't have political problems, HondaJet will be a good choice. Otherwise, it will be a failure!" Honda invested lots of money in F1 for years and the experience was a complete failure. The reason was a bad car. The first team of Honda's engineers worked in the project and they could not solve complex aerodynamics problems. Simple like that!
