Did you stick it out for the 2+ hour rinse cycle... or did you find shelter?
Any food horror stories? I had an $8 cheeseburger from the concession truck next to the Pita Wagon, that looked like it came out of the gray snowdrift at the bottom of the ice cooler at a Discount Gas Station, and was then cooked and warmed for several days in the servers armpit!
All in all... it was brilliant! Most interesting race in years! And I'm a huge Vettel fan!
You are very lucky to have witnessed live the most exciting F1 race in years! This race will be remembered for a long time and immortalize Button as one of the best drivers of all time.
Nick Heidfeld's crash was a racing accident as Kobayashi got off the dry line as his car seemed to just have a much better handle when the track was wet. Kamui decided not to push it once his left front was on the wet and slowed down and unfortunately Nick had nowhere to go. It's a shame because it spoiled a great run for both of them as Kobayashi lost a few positions after the safety car and Heidfeld was fast all day until the crash.
Those Renaults sound horrible! I had been to the GP of Monaco and the sound of those cars made my ears hurt, just like here at 1:11 . You sure had great spots for the GP here, mate lol!
Thank God that the BBC kept showing the race and missing out on the Antiques Road Show.. Something that the viewers paid for got something interesting in the end aye.
Great video there man, never knew what happened to Rosberg and Kobayashi, so thanks for that! And I guess I'm not the only one who think it's not Nick's fault for that accident, Kamui slowed down for no reason there, no where Nick could have gone at that time, and some experts actually say the same thing, thus the reason for me listening to them and not some clowns.
@nitroboost8765 Lol. There is taking risks and then there is being completely recklesss. Hamilton at this point just lost the plot completely(4 accidents in 2 races, really?) and he won't stop his antics until he gets someone or himself killed.
Kobayashi's reentry into the track was nothing short of irresponsible, but then again, and thats another guy with higher chances of getting himself killed.
@deshca If you think that for a race to be fun or entertaining, it needs crashes. Then you need some serious growing up to do.
And drivers that were world champions back when F1 was really dangerous have been calling Hamilton out on his retarded antics, so I take their opinion more seriously than that of the Hamie's fanboys.
@acheroncyc yeah, Lewis has been on a bit of a roll in the past two races, but I think Kobayashi is quite impressive, He just really struggled on the softs and running on the racing line near the end
Great video. You certainly were at the best place on the track to watch it. Finally figured out where the Williams crashed thanks to this. So much was happening in the race that it was not shown on tv.
Had Kobayashi and Schumacher had slightly better cars, I'm certain they would have defended far more successfully and maybe even challenged for the win...Also, the commentator sounds a lot like Jacques Villeneuve.
@timonicious I really did. The sad thing was that around 30% of the spectators left the circuit because of the rain and the uncertanty in a re-start, and unfortunately they lost the better part of the race. At least the braves were rewarded!
@drmcamargo man not that we weren't brave we were soaked and had no shelter. What am I saying ur right we were a bunch of pussies and should have stayed missed out on so much fucking epic action haha at least got to see the last two laps:p
@13Geffen This video is for you guys!!! hehe but don't get me wrong, I felt very bad for the people who lost the race. Just saw your 1st lap footage from tribute 31, very good btw. Cheers!
Great race on tv it must have been really exciting actually being there! Thanks very much for uploading this! A fans perspective of a race is always fascinating to watch!

1:12 There it goes... I would have been Schumachers first Podium Position in his comeback for sure, without the fucking Saftycar... Damn Heidfeld.

Funny how the two F1 lunatics, Hamilton and Kobayashi managed to cause a mess in the same area of the tracks.
acheroncyc 8 months ago
@acheroncyc Thats coz apart from Jenson and Michael, they were the only ones willing to take risks...Kobayashi drove a good race though.
