I've tried doing this and it doesn't work. In theory you should use options 3, 4 and 5. As told to me by a sony rep. But it didn't work for me it usually will mean that this is a overheating issue or hardware failure

my problem is that when i start my ps3 nothing turns up on the screen and when i click on the green light nothing happens and when i hold it for like 10 seconds it turns red

dud mine blinks the red light and i have to pres the start button like 5 times and then i can play but what happens? when i play MW3 it turns of by it self and new its doing to all my games even black ops that i was playing like 24/7 kidding
