@junior1984able I think the sodium channels she was referring to have a role in our nervous system. I don’t know for a fact but ion channels are likely prevalent in many if not all biological systems. Take for example ATP synthase found in cellular membranes of both humans and plants, specifically in the mitochondria, utilizes hydrogen protons.
Who would not want to know about individual atoms, but want to know about molecules? I know it's not me.
