When I first heard this song in my bedroom, the rain was pelting off the window on the roof of terraced house where I lived with my parents and three sisters, I was so excited by what I was listening to that I couldn't sleep.

Half expected a deadly hitch-hiker to be on the side of the road! Still sends chills down my spine to hear it-and I,m now 67! Rushed out and bought "LA Woman" when it was first released-Heaven for 7:05 minutes with Morrison at his broody best!

Musicians were looked to as leaders in the revolution and they took the responsibility to make important music, (also, the kind of drugs people were taking helped them think outside the box). Now were all all back inside the box, the status quo is safe, and the drugs just make you wanna dance, dance, dance baby! Rome is burning and were havin' a party. I think they call that ' Decadence'. I shot a picture of Jim and the boys coming out of a bar in Venice. I was with my parents playing on the street, while they were getting takeout food. I got a little kodak camera for Christmas…and was shooting things…I think I was 10 years old. When they came out of the bar I said "You are cool"…and they all posed for me….haha…I would kill to know what happened to that shot!! Parents got divorced….lost in time I guess…but still remember it like it was yesterday….

BUT i really don't enjoy music that doesn't need thought put into it. For instance, a lot of pop songs by pop artists don't take musical talent (justin beiber, rebecca black). Not a great movie, but it has a naked blonde chic riding a motorcycle around in the back yard that was pretty cool. Movie had a decent plot but baaaaaad acting. Good movie to redo today...
