@CrazyMushroomPeople Contact paper is a clear (or printed) paper that has a sticky side with paper...you can buy it at dollar stores or hardware stores.. Just ask and they will point you too it ;)
Question - if I bought a cashmere scarf and tried the same method on it, would it still work? I want to make a scarf with initials but didn't want to knit and want to gift something higher quality instead. Thanks.
Ack! I just finished making a fleece scarf for my granddaughter. Now i want it back so i can stamp on it. Initials would be fantastic for gifts. Great video!
when you wash the scraf, does the paint go away or does it still stay printed on the scraf? sorry..i really want to make this but i'm just not familiar with the paint..thanks!
It depends on the paint you use. Just read the back of the bottle. Most fabric paints will set permanently after being ironed, but of course not all brands will be the same.
whoa o_o that is extremely interesting, I will do this once I get the chance to -w- seems to be quite a awesome use of time though it is like now spring xD such a fail on most ends but it is always good to start things off on a fast foot x3
do you think fabric spray paint would work just as well?

@Aleksandar998 Contact paper is sort of a self adhesive foil that you use to line shelves. It comes in various colors.

No the paint is fabric paint, so its specially designed so the color won't wash off.

does it have to be micro fleece or any type of fleece?
jarani8 3 years ago
microfleece has a flat pile, so that the paint sits and coats better.
