  • geez if they had run this colt as a 2 year old I'd put my money on him for the derby for sure!

  • this is Mr. Besilu, correct?

  • A.P. INDY colt.. Wow.....

  • @ForeverHoofbeats A.P. Indy counts for a bit of this, too.

  • You people that complain about the horse not just standing there are a JOKE! This is not the 4H club at the county fair! These are animals that live to run, they want them on that border of edgy and wild, thats what gives them that edge when they race. DUH!!!

  • @dmorgan217 amen!

  • Just found out zenyatta's dam is in foal to street cry again

  • @ForeverHoofbeats She only sold for 60K because of a ringworm

  • I would not want to be the person who has to walk all those hot thoroughbred. They walk all over you. If my gelded broke thoroughbred even thinks about being in my space I let him know what I think about that. And believe me, I do it quiet loudly.

  • He's a good looking colt, good body on him

  • Nice deep waist and good loin. I'm curious to see his future.

  • That's so stupid because that horse will never make that money!!!

  • @jdoggy39 Most likely on the track, but breeding wise he could easily match that in a few years, if he wins a graded stakes.

  • @jdoggy39 hes a stallion so you'd be suprised

  • They named him Mr. Besilu.

  • Are you slow? THIS is a colt...not a mare! They don't mind the bridle in their mouth. Colt = boy, Mare = girl.

  • these people piss me off they always have chains in there mouth for god sakes there only mares!!!! holey crap if you would like a nobody to show you hot to deal with them i would sure be glad to!!!! TAKE THE DAMN CHAINS OUT OF THE MARES MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @barboro1 Learn about stuff before you say stupid stuff! It is not a chain in the horses mouth a is actually a bit. The chain is connected to the bit. If you have ever led a race horse -EITHER ON THE TRACK OR FRESH OFF THE TRACK, not a year later either- You will know that they DO NOT LEAD! The will run you over or drag you. And that is a stud colt FYI.

  • @Militarylove2012 actually your right i did not realize it was a bit it looked like a chain.....they always have chains on there noses and stuff and the urps me i cant stand it when people use them things and actually yes my mom used to own a race horse she bought him one week after he came off the track his name was Swingin Harry he one at woodlands race track and he led just fine we never once had a problem with the leading but he did not tie very well

  • @barboro1 Some race horses -not the young ones- will lead fine. This is a young one. Once they are about 6 they learn how to lead nicely.

  • @Militarylove2012 then they dont spend enough time working with them on ground work because i understand that young horses spook alot more but if trained properly then they should know how to lead by at min of 1 yr

  • @barboro1 No race horses know how to race. Some dont even do that! They are trained to run and thats about it. Some foals are trained to lead properly before they are weaned but they arent race foals. Big farms have their mares deliver our in a pasture once the babies are to be weaned they either sell them or move them to a different pasture. Coming 2 they bring them in and they are wild. Spend maybe 30 days with them and either sell them or race them.

  • @Militarylove2012 and people wonder why there are so many people against horse racing

  • @barboro1 Those people against racin gknow nothing about it. What magazines and papers say ISNT ALWAYS true.

  • @Militarylove2012 well the people training these foals know nothing,......thats pretty much what you are saying....i have raised horses my hole life and i garentee every one of my foals would act sooooo much bettter then this one what you said just goes along with what all the anti racers say and thats that they only thing they people that own race horses care about is racing.....i my self love horse racing but people that dont....you just sooooo proved there point by saying they have nothing

  • @Militarylove2012 to do with the horses unless they bring them money........out of everything you said thats what it sums up to and thats they hole reason most people HATE horse racing because the owners dont give a damn about the horses

  • @barboro1 Not all owners care about the horses but some/most do. My friend is broiught to tears every time he thinks of a mare he had who passed away due to colic. She was a gret race horse and a great momma.

  • @Militarylove2012 like i said people wonder why people hate this sport......they only care about money they cant even take the little bit of time it takes to train them to lead...........i dont blame race haters for hating this sport they dont give a damn about the horses its all about the money

  • @MsSunnyRainy never seen a comment this bad ever on youtube...get a clue..this horse was a slug 0-3 he wasnt injured when he ran he got smoked in weak msw races...

  • being with pletcher..we will never see this horses potential..that is a fact

  • when is he racing? what did they end up naming him?

  • Success for the breeders. The unfortunate thing is that there are no guarentees in racing. Zenyatta went for $65K at the sales... $4.2m and it's just as likely that this colt won't run out of sight on a dark night.

  • @MsSunnyRainy I think you misunderstood me, I meant hopefully he's not injured after paying all that for him.

  • Why is there a bit on a halter?

The reason why the yearling is fidgety is because of all the noise and flashing of cameras. The horse doesn't have a clue what's going on... :|

  • @Mababoo, yes, but you can't put a mustang in the Kentucky Derby.:-)

  • @ForeverHoofbeats I don't think that the plan is to sell he foal. The owners breed and race their own horses. So they'll probably keep all of her offspring, I'm guessing.

  • These horses are beautiful, but I can get myself a fast galloping mustang at the prison auctions.... :)

  • If you spend 4.3 mill on a YEARLING... You truly deserve to be shot.

  • @ruffianrunsforever16, the colt has been named Mr. Besilu. "Besilu" is the name of the owner's stable.

  • why are all the handlers black?

  • it's like.... "NSFKJSDNFKJSDFGKSDFNSJKFNSD OH MY MY MY DJFHFUHHSDFJKHSDJGHSDJKFGH"

  • to keeneland- is there a channel on the TV for this? in the usa? if so what whould it be on Charter?

  • @ForeverHoofbeats i'd LOVE to see that! X3 maybe more then green monkey who sold 16 mill. maybe zenyattas foal is 20-50 mill?

  • @ForeverHoofbeats - Zenyatta should have a foal by 2009 World Champion (rated 140) "Sea The Stars" - six straight Group (Grade) 1's including the Epsom Derby and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe

  • Nice looking big horse but hes tooo dear (too expensive) I could buy my Dream Stud Farm in Ireland for $4.2 Million - also I don't like his wild eye. I'm looking for bargains like Gio Ponti $90,000 and Zenyatta $60,000

  • @sainglain Well you can explain his wild eye ;) The poor horse was in a strange room, he's really young, there are people are around him, he's being yanked on the mouth, there's a strange voice talking very loudly- if I was a horse I'd be scared too!

  • @Susie369 - Do you 'Dope' yearlings for the Sales in U.S.A. to keep them quiet?

  • @sainglain give them tranqulizars? no they dont. if they get rowdy they take them out and start playing race videos if they have them. least thats what they did when my half uncle went to buy his racer.

  • stupid handler!

how old is that orse and that guy is pulling at his mouth ) :

  • does anyone know what they named him??

  • i wish i could get two horses of pretty awesome caliber never have to work a day again...i cant wait to see zenyatta foal best horse ever...this guy here has a pretty sick bloodline from dam sire and damsires

  • Likely that Zenyatta will be bred to A.P.Indy, she is now at Lane's End and he is the top sire there. He isn't getting any younger and he is still a top stallion.

  • beautiful horse

  • Anyone have a guess at who they'll breed Zenyatta to???

  • @QuTeBug A.P Indy Most likely...I can't wait to see the foal

  • I hope she is turned out to broodmare because she stoped racing.

  • the bloodline of this horse is awesome! I can't wait for him to start racing!

  • Does anyone know what they ended up naming this stud?

  • @MUSICSOULCHICK I believe he was named Mr. Besilu, after his owner's farm.

  • @kingkungu zenyatta is 6 years old. she's a mare.

  • too much....for a horse

  • 0:37 zenyatta is not a mare she's a philly

  • @kingkungu *filly

  • @kingkungu Zenyatta is a mare because she is older than 4 years. 4 years and under is a filly, 5 years and older is a mare.

  • @kingkungu no shes a mare. phillies r under 4yrs and shes now 6

  • that horse is intelligent enough with the best pedigree in raqcing outside of the retired stormcat. if he is a yearling he is going to be brought along very slowly because of his grat size. all in all 4.2 mil gets you an opportunity for a dream , but no amount in the world will never buy you a sure shot. only god above knows.

  • That's a yearling?!!

I liked his demeanor in the ring. He seemed calm and self posessed, especially considering his age and having to stand there for almost 10 minutes.

  • He is so an A.P Indy!!

  • He's a big guy, but I think he need's to fill out a little more but still a very nice looking colt.

  • @cowpiepk He's a yearling. What do you expected ,a developed racehorse?

  • Comment removed

  • hopefully hes not another green monkey ;)
