Do Hawaiians have their own alphabet? If yes, how different is it from the English alphabet?

  • @TikiFoamy38 It is different because it only has 12 letters

  • My friend went to Hawaii and told me some words and how to spell them, but never told me what they meant. So, can you please tell me what luna, hanai, 'iolani, hiapo, hoku, pupule, lani, paniolo, pau and luahala mean? I'd be greatful if you told me!

  • The numbers in Hawaiian are similar to numbers in Rapa nui (obviously, both are Polynesian languages). Only they difference by some phonetics changes:

    Numbers in Rapa nui are:

    Tahi - Rua - Toru - Ha - Rima - Ono - Hitu - Va'u - Iva - Ka tahi 'angahuru

  • this girl is so sexy im not trying to hit on her or anything i know ill never speak a word to this women probably in my life but she sounds beautiful and sexy

  • @Erik007able Indeed she is.

  • you are very gorgeus

  • Are you familiar with counting by factors of four, like kāuna, ka'au/'iako, lau, etc? I really like these. It's hard for me to thing in fours, but it's pretty cool.

  • Peace Sister, thank you so much for adding this lesson!
