  • This is not flotcem nor jetsurm, not bad but not great. Would get stoned and we play guitar but Im not playing the bitch.

  • WTF oozition? Did you even check before you commented, are you primordial, or did you just want people to hate you.

  • this isnt flight of the conchords

  • @myoozition You can clearly hear Jemaine on the harmonies, and even at the end when he says 'thanks very much'.

  • @myoozition It's definetly jamaine in the background!!!!

  • @myoozition They put on a accent, dumbass.

  • This wasn't on the show... I THOUGHT THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T DOING SEASON 3 BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF SONGS. GETTING ANGRY.

  • thank god guitars are allowed at my school

  • For some reason, this song reminds me of Stephen Lynch.

  • @uffewarrior You don't hear jermaine on the harmonies???

  • I actually doubt that this is FOTC.. Doesnt sound like them, and Jermaine isnt singing in between like he usually do. I dont buy it.

  • @uffewarrior buy the CD then deny it. Bret wrote it while he was acting in a stage version of 'Caberet.

  • Is there a genre they CAN'T do? jesus I love them

  • I find them very country at 1:28

  • I thought this was Adam Sandler for a while :S

  • I don't think that was FOTC technically speaking. Adrian somebody was obviously a guest performer Not nearly as clever.

  • bret mckenzie is my idol! :D

  • haha :) ^^ who loves these guys?

  • '...put an end to my strife."

  • Nothing wrong with his life, maybe, but there's something wrong with him.

  • Comment removed

  • jamain looks crazy without glasses.

  • That photo at 1:20 is hilarious :)

  • ADRIAN BRIAR!!! WOOOOOO!!!

  • at beginning bret's voice made me think of james blunt

  • Ein richtig geiler Sound .

  • Who saw these Guys on the Simpsons Season premiere? They were awesome!!!

  • Now that is comedy!

  • Damn. You'd think 'put an end to my strife' would be easier to hear.. into my strife doesn't make much sense, but... it sure does sound right... v-v

  • @ILoveAnimezzzzzzzzz It's 'put a end to my strife' and a deliberate grammatical error

  • @TheMetalPenguin It's not a grammatical error, it's their accent. There is a difference... so stop trying to sound smart.

  • @ILoveAnimezzzzzzzzz Who said I was trying to sound smart.

  • @TheMetalPenguin Perhaps the fact you attempted to use 'deliberate grammatical error'? Meh, I suppose it doesn't matter either way. But I would like to get something accross:

    1. I KNEW it was "put an end to my strife" I said that in my first comment.

    2. I said "you'd think it would be more noticeable" I.E. you should be able to tell the difference, but their accents made it difficult.

It wasn't a grammatical error, it was a heavy New Zealand accent.

  • @ILoveAnimezzzzzzzzz They're not singing in a New Zealand accent!

  • @ILoveAnimezzzzzzzzz thats not actually their accents they're putting on that accent

  • I LOVE THEM!

  • 9 people take jokes to seriously.

    love it.

  • I'm sure that this is why the picture is in the slideshow, but if Andy Kaufman was still alive I think the guy over Jermaine's right shoulder at 2:30, is what he'd look like

  • Brett is soo cute X)

  • is this really flight of the conchords?

  • I also like murdering people.

  • lol one of the lesser known but still awesome flight of the conchords songs

  • This is dark!

  • Was this in thier show?? I've never heard it!O:

  • Jermaine toltally looks like Benicio Del Toro

  • Great to see two guys having a great time doing their thing.

  • *and I got ashfelt drive

*and I got plenty of motivational drive

*so I had to change my song from "there bein' nothin' wrong" to

*"there bein' somethin' wrong" with my life

    carved her up

*and put a end to my strife

  • "and put an end to my strife"? maybe.

  • Cool

  • awsom!

  • Hahah bret sounds south african

  • OH EMGEEZ, did they write this recently? my brother just showed me this and itz the singgle greatest thing i have ever heard!

  • Where did you get the picture from :40 to 1:00? That picture is awesome!!

  • That picture is from there tv show on HBO

  • @dizzlecv05 YES!

  • one awesome country song

  • FofC >>> LIG

  • weird song

  • actually it is

  • @cap10quarterz really?

  • the pic at the end is the greatest thing i've ever seen!

  • this is amazing!! XD

what does he shout at the end?

  • Adrian Pryor is what he shouts. His real name is Age Pryor. Adrian is his nickname or stage name. You can find out more on Wikipedia or just use Google.

  • I'm confused. Are you saying that Adrian Pryor wrote this song? Because this is Flight of the Conchords. Or are you saying that someone mentioned him....or something?

  • Age Pryor played guitar and mandolin in the live band that's playing this song (and all other songs on their recording of the 2002 Folk The World Tour).

Brett was giving a lil' shout-out to his fellow band member that was playing with them.

  • I love how it goes back to nothing wrong!

  • anyone know where i could find the tab for this for the guitar??

  • This maybe my favourite song by flight of the concords!

  • They do such great accents.

  • i love the picture at 2:01

  • 44 seconds in is rad too

  • yea it is def them, it is off their first cd Folk The World Tour

  • yep, thats them. that is bret putting on an accent, which he often does. he sounds slightly indian in 'you don't have to be a prostitute' anyway.

  • nah hes imitating sting

  • :/ I like their other songs more.

  • Could you somehow send me the pictures you used for this? They are amazing!!

  • Of course it's them. Bret's just putting on a redneck voice, and you can hear Jemaine choiring.

  • 1st, thank you for putting this on youtube, been looking for it for ages!

2nd, thank you noodle for writing 'Age Pryor' - been trying to work out what that name is since i got this track, thought it was adrian pryor so couldn't find him on wiki.

3rd. wiki says age pryor does the guitar and mandolin on this track for fotc - this would imply that bret & jemaine ARE singing. sounds to me like brets doing the main bits and jemaines backing.

  • It's clearly them. Christ.

  • thought the backing singer does sound like jemaine

  • I just love this pic : 2:10

  • Mate, he says "I got an ashphalt drive" and "plenty of motivational drive". 4 drives haha. Cheers for the upload!

  • Also "Put and end to my strife".

  • Would you be able to put more songs from this album on Youtube? I've never heard Mermaids live before!

  • sure, ill put mermaids on soon

  • wow !!!

someone else was there but i could still hear those angels XD

  • Why have I never heard this before?! This is a fantastic quirky little Conchords song. Hmm, they really weren't kidding when they said most of their early tunes were about murder lol.

  • i think its adrian prier is what he says

  • oh my gosh their voices have changed so much since then!

  • Not really. Bret is putting on a weird hillbilly voice on this song.

  • Who's singing lead?

  • Bret

  • dude thats so bret

  • No it's not, I'm serious, listen to what he screams at the VERY end (2:45). There's also three voices, and I can hear Bret and Jemaine individually.

  • Bret sings lead. NZ musician Adrian "Age" Pryor is mentioned at the end - he plays guitar and mandolin on this album.

  • Oh, thanks. That's wierd, he sounds so different...

  • What are you Goopy, some kind of idiot? Look up Age Pryor on Wikipedia.
