Then you have to realize that he's been living alone, in fear of being attacked every day, so he's probably gone a bit too crazy, therefore leading to forgetfulness. Either that, or the infected got real smart and used his trap against him. Lmao

What made it even more sad was the fact that he tried using the cure(the one that cured the rat#5) on the dog and ended up having to kill the dog himself because it didn't work.
