  • Not John MacCarthur

  • This is MacCarthur

  • All have sinned and greatly offended the holy God of the bible. The just punishment is death then hell. That's not Gods will. He suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His life's blood so He could legally dismiss your case. You must repent turn from your sin and trust alone in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

  • john mcaurthur sounds like a chipmunk in this...

  • @koala8 An astute observation.

  • What do u mean by Jesus saving all humanity including Muslims and Jews if they both believe differently about him?

How many times Jesus will return after the crucifixion?

Pls explain this verse too. Numbers 23:19

"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?"

  • @srkb001 I do appreciate that you believe differently, but you do know that God promised a Savior right? The Jews believe it but I dont know about you. Will God promise and not fulfill? Even the Demons that Jesus was about to cast out recognised him as the Son of God (Luke 4:33-35). Simeon, a priest that blessed Jesus when he was born said he was the saviour of the world. Jesus Himself also said so. (John 10:11-18) God has said and he has acted and yet the Jews and Muslims still do not believe.

  • @Coolg69

Yes, I believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the Saviour, in fact e Jews r the people who never believe in him.. but the saviour is to return and save us from anti-christ.. to bring everyone to worship one LORD.

To say dat Jesus pbuh didn't preach laws is just a way of trying to modernize Christianity. Do u preach e bible or u speak according 2 ur own 'holy spirit'? Two different christians will hv two different holy spirit n both think ey're doing e right thing.

  • @Coolg69

One christian will believe dat gay marriage is good, and one will think is bad.. how can u tell which one of em has holy spirit in him?

Many other prophets in e bible were mentioned as son of God. Wat make Jesus pbuh different?

You said earlier dat e Koran is part of e bible, so why don't u believe in e Koran?

  • @Coolg69

    Matthew 5:18-19

"I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."18

"Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."19

  • @srkb001 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that knows all things and knows what pleases God or what displeases Him. The Holy Spirit is ONE; and therefore if He resides in a true believer, the believer will then know God laws and what pleases him or displeases Him. Jesus explained in John 14:26 “But the COUNSELOR, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in MY NAME (Jesus), he will TEACH you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you”.

  • @srkb001 John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth,”. When will God release his Spirit to all men? After the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ into heaven. Jesus explains this in John 16:7&8 “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is to your advantage that I go away for if I do not go away, the Helper (Holy Spirit) will not come to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment”.

  • @srkb001 From this, it is clear that Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit, in addition to that, we know that one of the works of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of sin and righteousness. Therefore any Gay CHRISTIAN isn’t led by the Spirit of God or even if he is, then that person has chosen not to obey the convictions of the Holy Spirit. You do not need a set of Laws to know that Homosexuality is wrong. Even creation and nature does not permit it.

  • @srkb001 Please do not confuse the corruption of the world and political movement with the truth about the Bible and Christianity. Furthermore when you read the verse 7 of John 16, you would realize that Jesus explained he had to be ascended into heaven before the Holy Spirit would be released. This plays an important part to your question about what Jesus said in Matthew 5:18&19.

  • @srkb001 In verse 18 he explains “For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” What did Jesus mean by saying when it is all accomplished” Jesus accomplished the law, furthermore when he hanged on the cross, he declared in John 19:30 “It is Finished”. What is finished?

  • @srkb001 He accomplished the task of redeeming man from sin and the curse of the law that brought the knowledge of sin and has given the devil the legal right to hold every sinner for breaking the law. Furthermore he has now given us something better than the Law. His own Spirit (The Spirit of God). The Bible explains in Galatians 5: 22&23 “But the fruits of the Spirit is Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no LAW”.

  • @srkb001 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that dwells in true believer and hence, we do not need any law to tell us that stealing is wrong, or homosexuality is wrong or lying is wrong etc. I guess you do not understand it because you are still under the Law. Ask God for the Holy Spirit and you would realize he is a great teach of Holiness and Righteousness than any law or code of conduct or practice.

  • @srkb001 Please read all of Galatians 5:16-25. It would give you an indication of the importance we walk by the Spirit of God rather than a code of practice. Also, please read Romans 7 and 8 the whole chapter and it should give you a better understand as to the importance of living by the Spirit of the Lord and not by a law.

  • @srkb001 P.s. the Koran is not part of the Bible but rather, parts of the Bible are included in the Koran. Besides Islam is not complete without the Bible or parts of the Christian faith and hence I would rather edge you to read the Bible if you would need more information concerning your faith in God. God bless you and I pray you would one day come to the understanding that our own righteousness from the law can never attain our salvation. It is only our faith in Christ Jesus that does this.

  • @Coolg69

You said: “The fruits of the Spirit is Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no LAW”.

This is exactly what gay supporters will tell us.. but we know e creation and nature does not permit homosexuality like u said. So that is e 'law of nature n creation'.

  • @srkb001 My brother, it is always a joy to read your questions about Christianity. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS AS IT WOULD EXPLAIN THE QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.

(1)The Bible states in Galatians 5:22&23. “But the fruits of the Spirit is Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no LAW”. I didn’t think it would be difficult to understand. The Holy Spirit produces love in a true believer and a follower of Christ.

  • @Coolg69

You believe if someone steal or commit adultery he is not a christian.

    We believe the same

    Prophet Muhammad pbuh said:

“An adulterer will not commit adultery when he has full faith in Allah, and a thief will not steal when he has full faith in Allah.”

At the time he commit sins, he has no faith. But both of us believe in repentance, so even if they had sinned, they can repent.

  • @srkb001 If you have Love for your brother or your sister, you wouldn’t steal from them, you wouldn’t rape your sister; you would forgive when you are offended rather than condemn or retaliate (this the law teaches, but you say God is merciful and yet you cannot show mercy to your brother). The Holy Spirit produces self-control and hence, if you have the Holy Spirit, you wouldn’t please the desires of the flesh by engaging in homosexuality of pre-marital sex etc.

  • @Coolg69

Now, if e person who was raped or stolen is an Atheist and she refused to forgive, will u hv to force her to be a Christian?

Are u telling me that God of Christianity is Loving but not Just to non-Christians?

You can never make everyone a Christian, bcos even when Jesus pbuh was alive he couldn't do that.

  • @srkb001 If you have the Holy Spirit, you wouldn’t be easily angered because the Holy Spirit produces gentleness in you. I hope this clarifies why the Holy Spirit is a better teacher than the Law and why the law is fulfil within the believer who has the Holy Spirit.

The law deals with judgment and does not consider forgiveness or mercy. You said

“In Islam, if a Muslim do e same action, he has to be punish on earth so dat he will not be punish in the day of judgment”.

  • @srkb001 How can you believe such a thing? Do you mean to say that all the people that have been beheaded for committing sins such as homosexuality etc would not be punished by God on the day of judgment? Who has put you (humans) in the position to judge, condemn or execute God’s judgment? When Jesus taught the people in Matthew 7:1&2 he said “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measure to you"

  • @srkb001 This is part of the teachings we follow. Furthermore, how do I know that the Holy Spirit is the best teacher of the Law and the understanding of God’s heart in every situation? Read John 8:3-11 and it would explain why. It reads “The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him,“Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?

  • @srkb001 This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her”. And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older one, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

  • @srkb001 Jesus stood up and said to her, “ Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? She said, “No one Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” By Jesus saying “Let him who is without sin amongst you be the first to throw a stone at her” He simply meant that we are all sinners and therefore we are in no place execute God’s judgment or condemn a sinner although it is right to teach the sinner the right way.

  • @srkb001 who have confessed him as Lord and have been baptized. So it wasn’t that the Holy Spirit did not abide before Christ’s death, but rather that He abides more now with all true believers and not a selected few. In fact the Bible talk about the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance after we have believed in the truth of the gospel and the saving grace of the Death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • @srkb001 Ephesians 1:13&14 – “In him you also, when you heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.” Note that the passage stated that the Holy Spirit was a promise of God, a seal, after they believed in the gospel of salvation and believed in Christ.

  • @srkb001 I hope this has given you a deeper understanding of Christianity and the power of the Holy Spirit. God bless you as He stirs up the desires to know more about the truth of the gospel and of Christ Jesus the Saviour by His death and Ressurection. God bless

  • @Coolg69

There were many adulteress get forgiveness from prophet Muhammad too bcos punishment of adulteress is not as easy as many of us think. It requires four witnesses, it is almost impossible unless it was done in public.

If you as a true Christian cannot do all these bad things why can't you consider it as 'LAW' for yourself?

I don't see any different. All faithful Muslims or Christians restrict themselves from doing devilish acts.

  • @Coolg69

I’m not sure on this, as different type of Christians believe different things. Is it true that Christian couples r not allowed to divorce until death make them depart? If it’s true, then isn’t that consider a law for you?

  • @srkb001 Hello Brother, it is nice to share my faith with you again. Hope you are well?

    (1) You said

“Now, if e person who was raped or stolen is an Atheist and she refused to forgive, will u hv to force her to be a Christian?

Are u telling me that God of Christianity is Loving but not Just to non-Christians?”

I really dont understand this. I can however tell you that, God is a just God to all mankind, as the Bible explains in (Deuteronomy 10:17) that He shows no partiality in judgment.

  • @srkb001 If a non-believer desire to avenge, then let them avenge BUT the way of the Lord is for everyone to learn forgiveness and leave vengeance to Him. God forgave all mankind by placing their punishment on His only Son (Jesus) so that through his death we may attain forgiveness. If God has shown such love and forgiveness, why can’t you? To mankind, forgiveness isn’t easy but to a man who is led by the Holy Spirit, forgiveness become much easier.

  • @srkb001 My brother you need the Holy Spirit, the law can never teach you forgiveness. Even though the law may say; forgive your offenders; the law would never be able to take that bitterness caused by the offender from your heart BUT the Holy Spirit of the Lord can.

    (2) You also said “ Is it true that Christian couples r not allowed to divorce until death make them depart? If it’s true, then isn’t that consider a law for you?”.

These are marriage VOWS (Promises, oath, etc) not laws.

  • @srkb001 (3) You said “Are you saying the same word' Holy Spirit' in e bible has two different meaning? Angel Gibrael and spirit of God. Jesus pbuh said dat e 'holy spirit' will tell u abt e future. tell me what does e holy spirit tells you abt e future?”

Brother, I had said to you that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Living God and Angel Gabriel is an Angel of God whose assignment is to deliver the message of God to his people.

  • @srkb001 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, a promise to every believer as said by Jesus in John 16:7&8. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God amongst men to help them accomplish God’s task on earth. The Holy Spirit does the following. (a) Empowers and equips the believer for ministry (Matthew 3:16). Notice that the Spirit came upon Jesus before He started His ministry.(b) The Holy Spirit purifies (John 16:8-11; Galatians 5:22-25). (c) The Holy Spirit Reveals (2 Peter 1:21)

  • @srkb001 (d) The Holy Spirit gives a believer the ministering gifts in the area of Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, Working of Miracles, Prophesy (seeing Visions, the future etc), Distinguishing between spirits, Various kinds of tongue (heavenly and earthly), interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-11). There are more things that the Holy Spirit does but these are a few I can mention. Do you see the importance of the Holy Spirit in comparison to a written code? :-) You need the Holy Spirit bro.

  • @Coolg69

Can you tell all of us here that you never ever once commit sins? I'm sure you are not a perfect person, but if you have e holy spirit in u, why does it come and leave you? If you have to control yourself from falling into temptations, why do you need the holy spirit? It does not help you from falling into sins.

  • @Coolg69

I hope you can ask yourself by now whether you Christians really follow Jesus teachings, or we muslims are the people who live his way?

  • @srkb001 So you dare to challenge the teachings of the Bible (The True Word of God) by picking up verses to try to dishonor it without reading the context in which it had been written? It is only people without understanding that do such things because you would never understand the full meaning of what the writer was saying. As you said, the Bible say: If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, or give him any greeting." 2John 1:10.

  • @srkb001 How do I know you haven’t read this verse with understanding? Because in the same verse, the writer was talking about false teachers and prophets who would teach us differently than what Christ has taught us. You dare to compare the Bible to the teachings of a so-called prophet (Mohammed) that the Jewish Book does not speak of, nor whom there is a trace of his existence in the Bible? Even Jesus, the Son of God never mentioned the coming of one (Mohammed) after him.

  • @srkb001 Instead He preached in Matthew 11:13 saying that “For all the Prophets and Law prophesied until John (John the Baptist)”. Meaning that after Christ, there was no need for any Prophets as they had in the Old Testament. Furthermore, Jesus also said in Matthew 24:11 “And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray”.

  • @srkb001 Again He said in Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?”. I can confidently say that some of the fruits of Islam have been division, extremism (Jihadist) etc. These are the fruits of a religion taught by a false prophet by the standards of the Jesus Christ as you say you believe in.

  • @srkb001 Listen, I am not here to argue with you. I am here to share the truth of God’s words with you. If you believe in the law, you would be judged according to the law, and by the law, you are a sinner and therefore you would be condemned (Remember that God shows no partiality). If you have faith in the sacrifice Christ Jesus paid on the Cross for you by his death and resurrection, you will be saved. Romans 8:1-4 explains that

  • @srkb001 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of Life (Holy Spirit) has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death (The law you practice). For God has done what the law (the law you practice), weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son (Christ Jesus) in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us,

  • @srkb001 who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit (Holy Spirit)”.

How can you also belittle the Holy Spirit of God when the Jesus explained in Matthew 12: 31 and 32 “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come”

  • @srkb001 Please consider the words you say against the Holy Spirit from now on because you are no more ignorant about this teaching of Christ Jesus.

I have no interest in arguing with you. Because I noticed you are not in this to understand the teachings of Christ but just to argue. This would therefore be my last posting on this topic. May the Lord bless you and bring you to a better understanding of His truth of salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Take care and God bless.

  • @Coolg69

You r avoiding my Q on Luke 1:41 and Matthew 17:21 and already start accusing Quran and talk abt Jihad. If I want to do e same, I can also quote verses of 'Jihad' in the Bible too.. but I'm not here to argue, just want u to provide me ur understanding on those verses.

You people with 'holy spirit' come to Muslim countries, kill e babies, burn eir houses, .. then go back home, repent and get back your 'holy spirit'. What kind of belief is that?

    Life is not a game.

  • @srkb001 I know I said the previous posting was my last, but I wud like you to know that if u clearly read my previous postings (Which is obvious you didnt read all), I had answered your question of Luke 1:41 n Matthew 17:21 already. If you want to understand these scriptures, read it again n u will find it. Furthermore, no one comes to ur country to kill ur babies, burn houses and go back. I believe you are angered by an act of a Country/countries through Politics and not religion. Sory brother

  • @Coolg69

    @Coolg69

Matthew 17:21 says if u hv a little faith, u can move e mountain, but nobody can, therefore prayer and fasting is required.

Why do u need explanations on every single words of Jesus? Is it so hard 4 u to understand wat he said?

Luke 1:41 says 'Holy Spirit'.. wat make u say it was 'Angel Gabriel'?

I don't ask u wat e Holy spirit does, but why it has two meanings? why one had came b4 Jesus 'goes away'? Jesus said e spirit will not come unless he has gone.

  • @srkb001 Matthew 17:21. All Christians fast and pray. I fast on most Sundays and I pray every day.

Luke 1:41. I never said it was Angel Gabriel, I made it clear it was the Holy Spirit. In fact you said that “We (implying all Muslims) believe e holy spirit is Angel Gibrael” Check your post 4 days ago. Do u remember? After that I explained the difference between Angel Gabriel and the Holy Spirit for you. Check my response 3 days ago.

  • @srkb001 Check my response 3 days ago and you would find the answer to Luke 1:41. See, you have just lied in the name of Allah and you have broken the law. But the Holy Spirit has kept me honest and sincere throughout. This is my last message, because you dont want to know the truth. if you want further information, read all my postings and you will find the answer. Or even betther, read the Bible. All the Gospel (New Testament) all teachings of Jesus and not some, but all. God bless you.

  • @Coolg69

We r abide by laws as long as we live on earth. If a christian steal or rape someone, he has actually hurt another human being, whether e victim is a christian or not.

You believe he will have to repent to get back e holy spirit.. but wat abt e victim?

  • @srkb001 This he taught her by saying “From now on sin no more”. Furthermore, He also demonstrated the need for forgiveness and mercy in situations where someone may have been affected. If God always forgives our sins, they why can’t you forgive your neighbor?

    (2) The Holy Spirit is not Angel Gabriel; He is the Spirit of God that dwells amongst men. He is the same Spirit that was involved in creation.Angel Gabriel is an Angel of the Lord who delivers God’s messages to different people.

  • @Coolg69

In Islam, if a Muslim do e same action, he has to be punish on earth so dat he will not be punish in the day of judgment. Whether you are a jew, christian, bhuddist or atheist, you will get your right. That is justice to all human kind bcos God loves us all the same.

  • @srkb001 Angel Michael is the Angel in command of God’s army. Angels should not be mistaken for the Holy Spirit, as they are God’s creature to execute God’s specific commands in Heaven and on Earth. In the Old Testament and before Christ. The Holy Spirit operated amongst some selected few, such as the Priest and Prophets and some choosen few people of God.However after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit in poured upon all true believers in Christ Jesus

  • @Coolg69

However if that how the Christians believe abt holy spirit. I hv no more to say.

We believe e holy spirit is Angel Gibrael. Even in e bible it says dat e holy spirit had came before 'Jesus goes away'. Luke 1:41

Why is the contradiction regarding holy spirit here?

  • How could Jesus (pbuh) save us when he can't save himself from dying on the cross?

Jesus needs God's salvation. We need it too. Jesus taught his people to avoid sins and commit to the laws. Why would he asked em to do so if he will forgive them?

Who is the first person who claim that his death was to take away sins?

  • @srkb001 It is not that Jesus cannot save himself from the cross. He could, but that wasnt the mission and assignment He had to accomplish. His death on the Cross was essential to pay the price for all sins of humanity. He was the perfect "Lamb" meaning He was righteous and holy without sin and hence His holiness and righteousness has been exchanged for our sins and condermination that was imputed on him by His death on the Cross. By this we are now made righteous and are now reconciled to God

  • @Coolg69

Do u believe on repentance? If there is repentance in Christianity, wat is e purpose of Jesus death?

God created us as sinners, wouldn't He accept us the way we are?

If Jesus really died on e cross for dat only purpose,he would hv put himself on e cross, right?

  • @srkb001 Repentance means having a change of heart or mind. In other words, making a U turn from the direction (Wrong direction) one was going. Repentance is needed when one realize s/he was wrong, however it doesn’t mean we are made holy or have met God’s standard in order to enter His Kingdom. God is a holy God and hence sin cannot abide where His is, therefore the Bible explains that Jesus (The only Holy one and without sin;

  • @srkb001 His holiness meets God’s standard) had to die for the sins of man so that his holiness would be imputed on us and our condemnation imputed on him on the cross. His sacrifice was the only sacrifice that could be acceptable to God as he was without sin.

  • @srkb001 That was also why, in the Old testament God instructed the Prophets and Priest that for the sins of people to be forgiven, there had to be the shedding of blood of an innocent bull without blemish to compensate for the sins of the people. However, in this day, Jesus was the one and only Lamb of God (Righteous and without blemish) who paid the price for all humanity on the Cross.

  • @srkb001 By so doing, we are now reconciled to God. We now have access to the Kingdom of God however, we might follow in our master ways as he would judge all humanity. I hope this explains your question. Read the Bible for yourself and even the Koran, because it talks about Jesus coming back to judge and establish his Kingdom on earth however, if you do not believe in the sacrifies he paid on the cross, then how could you stand in the day of his judgment? Think about it.

  • @Coolg69

Thanks for e great explanations. As a muslim I believe in sacrifice too.. but if e bull/lamb was made to compensate sins before, then why can't we do the same now? God had accepted animal sacrifice to forgive their sins. Those who lived at e time of Noah or Abraham for example did not know abt Jesus or the crucifixion.

  • @Coolg69

Also do we have to be grateful to the Jews who killed Jesus,

bcos if they didn't kill him we won't get salvation?

  • @srkb001 The Bible explains in Matthew 26:53-56 "Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then should the Scripture be fufilled, that it might be so? At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled".

  • @srkb001 It is self explanatory, the prophets such as Isaiah had already prophesied that Jesus would have to die to save all humanity, even the Jews, Muslims, Zulu’s you name it. To answer your question, the Bible explains that the death of Jesus had already been prophesied and hence we shouldn’t be angered at the Jews for killing Jesus nor should we be grateful for their act because it was all the will of God to draw all humanity to himself.

  • The righteous and holy scarifies was paid for you, because we humans couldn’t attain God’s standard and Jesus Christ conquered sin to attain God’s standard, hence your faith in Christ Jesus that he died for your sins and as your savior eliminates all condemnation or disqualification when you are covered by his blood he shed for you.

  • Accept him as your Lord and savoir and you will not be condemned. Your righteousness is never enough. In fact, the Bible explains that our righteousness is like a filthy rag before God. Do you think God will allow that in His Kingdom? Accept the scarifies today and you will not be condemned. Please read the Bible (The New Testament) and learn the truth for yourself. Besides, parts of the Koran is based on the Bible and Jewish Torah. God bless you.

  • @srkb001 The righteous and holy scarifies was paid for you, because we humans couldn’t attain God’s standard and Jesus Christ conquered sin to attain God’s standard, hence your faith in Christ Jesus that he died for your sins and as your savior eliminates all condemnation or disqualification when you are covered by his blood he shed for you.

  • @Coolg69

I know that our righteousness is never enough, but won't you Christians strive to do the best you can by following wat he himself did when he was on earth? Is it enough to only hold on to the 10 commandments?

I read the Koran, believe the Torah n Gospel and read the new testament. Jesus preach laws, so wat do u think about the laws in the bible?

  • @srkb001 Jesus did not preach laws. He taught people the truth about God. Furthermore, He demonstrated why the law may have its weakness. This he did when he healed the oppressed on the Jewish Sabbath day; which was unlawful to do (John 5:1-15). However this was the law that people followed. If you were sick of an incurable disease, wouldn’t you want to be healed any day? Even the Sabbath day? But the law said it was unlawful to heal on the Sabbath. Do you now see why we need more than the law?

  • @srkb001 The meaning of Christianity is to be Christ like. To be Christ like doesn’t only mean to follow his teachings but it also means to have the nature of Christ (The Holy Spirit) within you. The Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Jesus, is the best teacher of moral law. It was the same Spirit that resided in Him and kept Him holy and righteous before God.

  • @srkb001 When one becomes a Christian (After confessing Christ as Lord and Savior and also sometimes after being baptized) one receives the Holy Spirit of the Lord that gives us a better understanding of God’s moral laws rather than a written code of practice. An example; the law does not talk about a legal age to get married; hence you would find some older men who are ready to marry a girl as young as 12 years old because the law does not state it is wrong.

  • @srkb001 However, when you are filled by the Holy Spirit, He grants you the truth about what is right or wrong. Furthermore He gives you the ability to distinguish the truth of God’s Words from that of traditions that people followed. An example of this is the forbidding of eating Pork and other animals. The Holy Spirit of God gives you a deeper understanding that once you bless and give thanks for the food you are about to eat, then that food is blessed.

  • @srkb001 Furthermore, God created all these, so we can have as food. Eating Pork or abstaining does not make you righteous or Holy before God. God will not judge you according to what you ate of did not eat. The Bible explains in Roman 14:17 “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”.

The law is a shadow of the truth of the Holiness and righteousness that the Holy Spirit of Christ gives us when we accept Him as Lord

  • @srkb001 . I do however believe that the law is also needed to instruct others without self control, but then it is better for all humans to strive and attain the Holy Spirit of Christ for He is the best teacher of God laws. They are however, a lot of “Christians” who do not have the Holy Spirit and are led by their own judgment which isn’t right.

  • @Coolg69

Jesus pbuh said this, and u say totally e opposite.

    Matthew 7:23

"But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws."

  • vaea46 - "the pastor/elders who have responded biblically in these matters" - that's in reference to the pastor (who you so boldly mention in yr comments) & elders at MEF. In the matter that u speak of, those found in sin were dealt with swiftly & biblically. And there's no shame in that. Shame on those who talk nonsense about others. Shame on those who don't confront sin in the church! Shame on those who are confronted and don't repent. Prapz that's your beef - u stil seem angry.

  • vaea46 - re. yr comments about MEF: John Macarthur has nothing to do with what goes on at MEF, so no shame on him; & no shame on the pastor/elders who have responded biblically in these matters - anyone who is/has been found in sin are/have been biblically discicplined and either stood down or ex-communicated as per biblical standards; and those who repent are forgiven as the Bible commands. Get your story right and stop grabbing at straws to support your wack comments/outlook.

  • Christians use jesus's name as a free ticket to sin, they can sin as much as they like because jesus dies for their sins, christianity is the easiest option to go to heaven , no matter what you do, youre guaranteed heaven

  • @ogilby5 I just wanted to mention that no true christian lives in sin voluntarily. If someone constantly lives in sin, he never truly became a believer (I Jn 2:1-2). In the parable of the 4 soils (Mat 13) there are 4 soils, which represent people responding to the gospel:3 out of 4 respond positively, but only one is a true believer. One leaves the faith because of persecution, another is living with the World system (sin without ceasing). You are right on persians, but the man was muslim.

  • @ogilby5 No as Christians we should try not to sin, what people do is they say well we are all sinners, I might as well do it anyway, That is the wrong way to look at it. As Christians we should ralize that Jesus died on the corss for our sins, Why would I want to sin as much as possible when Jesus sacrificed his life for me?

  • @ogilby5 u obviously dont get the point of salvation through sins, read more before judging.

  • Did you hear the Gospel proclaimed in this video?

Oh, he DID say that God will forgive all your sins and that we CAN be reconciled to God, but he never, in any part of this video, even alluded to HOW God's plan of Salvation is accomplished.

In 11 minutes, he found NO time to share that Gospel with you who are listiening to him. Looking at the comments here, it is no wonder why some Muslims arriving here are mad. MacArthur has said NOTHING more than they can hear in their mosques.

  • @Afrikitty This is Holy War! Take charge & fight for your life! Your target is your own flesh! Beyond that here is a stronghold to take down, too! Fight soldier! ---->Beware of RedBeetle watch v=JVnmQbdlwos

  • @Afrikitty Listen to the video from 4:54 on. The Gospel is proclaimed in the video. The comments posted here do not replace the fact that the gospel is preached in this message.I doubt any mosque would mention that Christ forgives all sins (5:03 in the video) - if they do -that would be very interesting.

  • AMEN Brother John I can listen to this man talk all day..he speaks the truth stright from the Bible..don't put his own thoughts in it just preach from the Gospels. I love Jesus

  • vaea46...you are misinformed about this. Christians do not worship an "image of a dying Jesus" as you put it. Christians worship the resurrection of Jesus. All men die. Jesus, being God incarnate is the oonly "person" who has the ability to raise Himself fromt he dead. I am sorry for your hatred to Jesus and I will pray that God will lighten your heart.

  • Amen John MacArthur, preach it!

  • o k ? vaea46?

  • Christ is the only way

It doesnt matter where your emotions direct you whether to Atheism or Islam

    Jesus IS LORD

  • Jesus is God. Those who do not hear the gospel still deserve hell because we have ALL sinned. If God saves one, it is still amazing!

  • lots of christians miss the point, its not about moses, jesus, muhammed, its about Worshipping God, and God alone ?? who cares about how the man was, if u base it on man, then it shows, your more obsess in proving whos right and whos wrong. I wonder why Jesus cried.

  • Im so amazed John that u would even say such things, and say if muslim beleive in sin, of course we do, even christians do. only failure with christians, they confess, and sin again, confess and sin again. How many times does Jesus have too die, 4 yr sins. if yr answer is one, then why do u keep failing as christians. - SHAME ON PASTOR MONTY NGATAI n MEF Church in NZ caught stealing from members offerings, They are brother church with Grace -WHICH is yr fellowship. how shaming.

  • Well John Mac - is a real idiot. trying too make Muslim sound bad. hey John, i went 2 a church in new zealand, run by pastor Monty Ngatai. who learnt n used your material. 2 ELDERS + 3 of there members were stilling from the offering plate. do u teach yr members too do the same. SHOCKING.. why does your church preach Angry God, but your members still from God. how shaming

  • This vid makes him sound like he just sucked helium. But John Mac is awesome and preaches truth.

  • John mac again comes directly to the point ...What we are here for at this time on earth ...Satan seeks to distract the christian from spiritual warfare for the souls of men Primarily by allowing debate in a comment box ...Asking questions that keep us from doing exactly the thing we are left to do on earth ...Intercess for the lost souls of men ... to seek and to save ...too many questions seek to distract from this purpose.. Paul preaches christ and him crucified for the remission of sin..

Touch me and see;a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you see i have. Now who doesn,t understand that if a human have flesh and bone and [ALLAH OR GOD] don,t have.

  • Abdishikur, Jesus is God in the flesh! Only He is Worthy to bear our sins on the Cross. Therefore the fact that He was also Resurrected in the flesh is not a problem. Consider this Scripture verse: "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." (John 20:17)

Once ascended He was no longer flesh-and-blood but restored to His FORMER GLORY!!! God bless you!

Seeking forgiveness is mentioned again and again in the Qur'an, and in some places it is a command, as in His saying, Glorious and Exalted is He:

    * And Seek forgiveness of Allah;surely Allah is Forgiving, Compassionate. (73:20)*

And those who pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning. (3:17)

And whoever does evil, or wrongs his own soul, but afterwards seeks Allah's forgiveness, will find Allah is Forgiving, Compassionate. (4:110)

  • Great Vid.

  • Isaiah 53: "But he was wounded for our transgessions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed. All like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. HE was oppressed and He was afflicted Yet He opened not His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. This passage is talking about Jesus and His death on the cross for my sins and your sins. Believe.

  • My friend someone who doesn't exist can't forgive you. There is only one true GOD and one savior of all mankind, His son Jesus Christ, who can forgive your sins. Everyone must go through Jesus or else you die in your sins and are eternally separated from God. The cross is the only way to heaven. These are the word of God, not mine. Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth, and the light no one comes to the father but by me.

  • 007.153 But those who do wrong but repent thereafter and (truly) believe,- verily thy Lord is thereafter Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Learn Islam from good Muslims not John MacArthur.

  • I'm not talking about Islam, I'm talking about Jesus Christ. Ok, and what if those people that repent do wrong again later on? What happens then?

  • 004.048 Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth

039.053 Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

I think that's enough to prove the ignorance of the speaker. But it's common among Evangelists.

  • Ok. Tell me about the redemption in Islam. What can you tell me about Islam? I would like to know more.

  • In Islam, redemption is no different than what Jesus taught. When Jesus was asked about salvation and eternal life, he replied, keep the first commandment, love your God with all your heart, and love your neighbor. Jesus never mentioned the Original sin, he taught nothing in secret

When God created Adam, he was destined to live on earth, satan caused him to slip But he turned to God and God forgave him, and promised him guidance for him and his children. see Jeffrey Lang lecture on the subject.

  • The prophet said, (The meaning) : mankind have tendency for sin, but the best of mankind who sincerely repent.

You can learn a lot about Islam on the internet, but don't go evangelist websites.

    watch?v=qVQ1BWqjTjs

  • But see, the fact is all mankind is radically depraved without God. This state of sinfulness has nothing to do with how much one sins or the severity of one's sins. It means that before Christ changes one's life, we are unable to come to God because we are dead in our sin. The epistle of James says that if you break one law, you are guilty of them all. God is perfect and he cannot allow sin to enter heaven so the forgiveness that comes through faith in God is required to enter heaven.

  • We don't just have a tendency to sin, we are sinners apart from Christ. That means that our life is characterized by sin and nothing but sin. We are spiritually dead and so Christ has to quicken our spirit to life.

  • These words are strange to Jesus. he has never taught that. man's philosophy.

  • Not according to the Bible. Not only does the New Testament say these things, but also the Old Testament. What do you say Jesus taught?

  • Where in the OT, salvation is through the death of the son of God? Where does OT talks about God having a son? Where is the Original sin in the OT? Jesus was teaching about the kingdom of God in his gospel, but with time, later Gospels are talking less about the kingdom of God but more about Jesus himself, the message was abandoned, and the messenger became the central point. Many sayings of Jesus in John, are not found in the earlier Gospels, Why?

  • Because John was written last. Not only that, John does not go into that much detail about Jesus' life as Matthew and Luke do, for instance. There are only 7 miracles recorded within the book of John as well. John focuses more on what Jesus said and about his message of eternal life. What do you say Jesus taught?

  • "Because John was written last." Exactly, there were people who died without seeing John's Gospel. john focus more about what Jesus said about himself then about kingdom of God.

Jesus was sent to the people of Israel, to call them back to the way of God, they took their rabbis as Gods, they were people of adultery, interest and corruption. They made their tradition superior and forgot the way of God.

You can count the "I AM" statements in John, and compare with earlier Gospels, huge difference.

  • Right. The Gospel of John is about Jesus' identity as God and the savior of the world. Matthew focuses on what Jesus did, Mark focuses on Jesus' humanity, Luke focuses on the details of the events, and John focuses on the deity of Christ. Jesus claimed to be God. What's your point in all this?

  • My point is, the later the Gospel, the more the original message is distorted and drifted from it's original. What you should know, that the NT was collected 3 centuries after Jesus, there were people who preached Matthew and never saw john's gospel. Each community has its own Gospel.

What is the criterion to include a gospel and reject another? What makes John's gospel Holy and not others?

  • Well for one those other gospels were inconsistent with what eyewitnesses knew about Jesus. Many of these false gospels, such as the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, the Gospel of Peter, and the Secret Gospel of Mark were rejected in the canon because they were not at all in line with the rest of the scriptures. Many were written by Gnostics, a group of heretics in that day. All four gospels were written by a community not just one person.

  • "were rejected in the canon because they were not at all in line with the rest of the scriptures"

What line? Who defined the line? The four gospels are a minority, not "the rest of the gospels"

An eye witness should have a name, otherwise he is not considered witness.

  • He does have a name: John the apostle. His gospel is dated to have been written around 90 A.D. John was the only apostle to die a natural death at an old age, which helps to explain why his gospel was written so late. Also, the fact that it doesn't contain as many details as the other gospels can attest to its late dating. John probably only remembered the things that stuck out to him that Jesus did and said. Of course, that's only speculation. But John's gospel is uniquely evangelical.

  • *Die a humiliating death (Psalm 22; Isaiah 53rejection (Isaiah 53:3; John 1:10-11; 7:5,48)

  • Who wrote Matthew , Luke ?

  • Matthew and Luke. Through the Holy Spirit.

  • The Gospel of Matthew was named after Matthew in the 2nd century. It was Just a tradition, like the birth of Jesus in 25 of December, after centuries people figured out that it was just a pagan tradition. No historian could confirm who are the writers of the Gospels.

  • I do not need historians to prove to me who the writers were. The Holy Spirit can speak through a person without us knowing the person's name. In all 4 gospels Jesus comes the same - Son of God, Redeemer, King of the universe, both God and man, healer, prophet, priest, the lamb who was slain for the sins of the people. Just as he was described in the Old Testament. Please take the time to read them again, maybe God will help you see him as he is.

  • How did you know that the writers of the Gospels had the Holy Spirit? Why the Holy Spirit cannot tell the story without making contradictions? What is the criterion to include a gospel and to exclude another? Which bible is from God, the catholic or the protestant? Who has the Holy spirit, the catholics , the protestants, the orthodox or the Egyptian Copts?

The OT says nobody should die for the sins of another man.

Watch my video " is the bible really Holy" and tell me what you think.

  • Have you read the OT? If you do, you will find that in the OT Yahweh ordained sacrifice for sins and predicted the coming of his Son who would be that sacrifice. See Isaiah 53 for example. The reason why you don't believe that Jesus can pay for the sins of humanity is that you consider him a mere prophet. Just a man. And he is not. Just like Adam, he was the son of God, and he restarted the human race because he was perfect and because he was sacrificed for our sins.

  • Yahweh ordained sacrifice for sins, he also ordained to offer flour for sins instead of blood offerings. Isaih 53 speaks about the servant of God, do you worship the servant of God?

God restarted the human race in Noah time when he dawned all the bad people and left alive Noah because he was PERFECT!

Gen 6:8-9 (KJV) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Did God fail again?

  • what are you talking about

  • I'm talking about unnecessary blood sacrifice, because in the OT, flour could do the job. Where is Original Sin, since Noah was PERFECT?

Ezek. 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." Why am I responsible for the sin of Adam? Deut 24:16 every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

  • Hello 1MoreMuslim. Go for it, your doing ok. However you will find with these fundamentalist Christians that if they can't answer your questions, they will just quote blindly from their book. You will also find that they are a very superstitious lot and that in some ways, they are positively medeival in outlook. They think that because their book is holy, and therefore must have been written by G-d, that it should never be questioned. What a waste good of brains. Best wishes. The Troll

  • As for the Holy Spirit, those who believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God have the Holy Spirit. I have him in me, therefore I can recognize his voice when he speaks. Our holy book was compiled by men but your holy book was WRITTEN by a man. Because your prophet Mohammed does not have the Holy Spirit. If he had him, he would praise Jesus the Messiah and tell you to worship Jesus instead of adoring Mohammed and an Allah who is incapable of having a Son.

  • "Allah who is incapable of having a Son."

Your God created mankind and then regretted. Your God is unable to have a second son to play with the first one. Your God doesn't know when the hour will come. Your God doesn't know the season of figs.

Paul was not sure if he has the Holy Spirit or not, how come you are so sure?

1 Cor 7:40 (KJV) But she is happier if she so abide, after MY judgment: and I THINK also that I have the Spirit of God.

Muslims praise Jesus PBUH, more than you do.

  • Who told you that Noah was perfect? The servant of the Lord in Isaiah is Jesus. Paul was sure he had the Holy Spirit. The fact that he has him does not mean that he has stopped thinking. You can never praise Jesus the right way until you believe that he is the second Adam, the perfect Son of God. If you want to know Jesus, read the Gospels without prejudice. You have a mind of your own.

  • Who told me Noah was perfect? The bible, do your homework! Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:9 (NKJV) Where is the sin nature?

The servant of God in Isiah is Jesus, why are you worshiping the servant of God?

"Paul was sure he had the Holy Spirit" Show me where? Who has the prejudice? is it me or you? I have a mind for my own, but your mind belongs to the church,

What is your strongest evidence of the deity of Christ?

  • Christ said to the Jews that they had to believe in him because of the words he said and because of the things he did, because it was all from the Father. But that's from John's gospel, and maybe you think that it was not John who wrote it... I'm not here to prove the deity of Christ to you. Christ will prove it to you if he wants to.
