  • The goat cam is GREAT!! What is the music soundtrack? Thanks for the excellent video.

  • Nice approach to the wG0AT theme. This vid rocks. Thanks Steve, Hope to work you soon..

  • Going back in to Ham radio. Grew up in Colorado, but I am afraid that at 59 and 20 years of living near sea level my mountain climbing days are over. Looks like great fun though. Love the videos.

  • Thee old goat cam!

    Just classic....

  • Fantastic video Steve! Absolutely beautiful scenery!

  • Hats off to yourself, Guy, and the others that made your summit a success.

Like I said before - you two make my QRP trips to the park seems like 'a walk in the park'.

  • Great Video Steve, How does the 817 do with moisture.

  • So far so good, but it's not rated waterproof or even water resistant so keeping it protected from moisture is always a concern. I recently lost an HT to water damage so I know it can happen!

  • Thanks, I have a good friend K0NK , Jim who is a avid backpacker and we have kept CW schedules for years with him while he is backpacking in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming. He uses a Heath HW 8 and has mentioned there have been times when water got into the radio and it survived. We were talking about how the 817 would do with its high impedance circuitry if it got even a little wet.

  • GoatBerries Unlimited - oh that's some corporation you have there! Very nice video, with some great shots and a good ham feel to it all. Congrats to all, and especially to P&R!

  • Aww, they were so tuckered out.

Don't know if I could watch the goat cam for too long without getting sea sick.

Still, it's a very cool aspect.

Thanks for taking the time to put these videos together.

    88 to all of you.

    Be Safe out there!

  • Another great video / photo compilation. Quick question, what are you using to record the audio coming out of the radio? Some sort of digital audio recorder with a splitter to a speaker?
