i have sides shaved to grade 3 and i have it long on top with a fringe down just above my eyebrows. I sweep the fringe to one side but it always falls down. Its mainly the side its getting swept to just goes horizontal. Is it the way the hairs cut? ive used v05 clay but it sometimes makes my hair bond together in strands and looks terrible. any advice?

If not you can use any other gel really... Probably not something that has super strong hold because your hair will feel chunky and horrible.

I know that people aren't supposed to wash their hair everyday, but we do shower everyday (so I hope). So for everyday shower, do we just wash our hair with water then even if we have hair products in our hair?

@trathanhla92 Exactly what I do. It obviously depends on the type of product and how much you have in your hair, but I usually leave it 2 or 3 days between washing and conditioning.

@caurejs It wont survive in a hurricane or anything. Nobody's hair can stick out really windy weather, unless you use a tonne of gel! But this style should hold-up as well as most. If you use a little gel, dry it into place and finish with some spray it should do okay.

Yeah, I also make a side parting... everything up till the point of hairspray seems easy for me, but... how much hairspray do you use? I almost never have my hair the same after wind blows...only if i use lots and lots of hairspray... how do you keep your side parting in a strong wind?

Hi Jim! Allow me to give you a tip to improve the packaging issue with that first product. Have you tried getting one of those empty/travel spray bottles from the drugstore? Since it's small, you could just fill it up with the product and just keep refilling it as you run out. And since it's a spray bottle, I think it would be easier to apply, as it just sprays out. I love your take on the side part. I was never a fan of the glued-to-your-scalp, sleek, razor-sharp side part that fathers used to make their sons wear to school on picture day. I have a problem with gel. Whenever I get a haircut and they put it in my hair is rock hard stiff which I don't like then in 2hrs it goes away but leaves my hair dried out dull and lifeless. Does this gel do the same?

@Lutonic If you put quite a lot on, it would make your hair feel hard and crispy. But because I didn't put much on and I just used it to shape the style, you would hardly know it was in there. Also, because it's a professional product, it's designed by hairdresser and so it's good for your hair.
